I don’t feel anything at all, don’t buy.

This stuff is very good quality for the price. It has a higher standardized level of the active ingredients than many similarly priced alternatives.
I felt more alert and energetic after taking 2 twice daily. Normally I would notice the effects after a few hours for digestion.

It’s okay, but not as effective as it used to be.

I started taking Ginseng as a way to increase energy levels due to fatigue suffered from digestive issues making me nauseous all the time and therefore not eat much. It, like most herbals, took some time to show effect but man did it ever! Be warned this is not a boost like what you expect from caffeine. This is a base-line endurance type boost. It means you can exercise longer, walk longer, have fun with your wife longer 😉 etc…
By no means is this saying “use it to treat your symptoms” but it also along with probiotics helps me manage my digestive and nausea issues caused by my slow emptying stomach and slow guts. Interestingly enough if I take my ginseng right after a meal I get hungry faster and don’t get the nausea I used to get.
My one warning if that I have been taking this a year now and every now and then after I take it I feel as though my neck muscles feel very tense and my head almost feels somewhat tense. I attribute this to me taking it for a long duration and the fact that at 7% ginsenosides it it more potent that most out there. I’m planing on lowering dosage in the future.
In the end if you’re looking for potent dosage from a well known and trusted brand, so with this Ginseng!

I’ve bought and used many herbal and other supplements over the years. This is one of those many of which I’ve tried. Nature’s Way is a trusted brand and they have the best deals on quality extract versions. This is no exception.
I don’t take this Korean Ginseng extract daily but I have cycled it in and out of my daily supplement intake. It isn’t something you feel working or see immediately obvious in my opinion, but it is indeed effective.

My Husband is recovering from prostate cancer brachytherapy and i found information on the Lance Armstrong site as well as the Mayo Clinic that suggested that Korean Ginseng could help with post cancer treatment fatigue. Be certain to get this brand because it has the highest level of gensenosides which is the active ingredient necessary to help combat fatigue. My Husband use to crash and burn by 2pm in the afternoon and it was just awful. He has been taking 3 per day for 10 months and now has energy until 6 or 7pm at night which is an improvement and his mood is better too. Be certain, however, to take a break from these every 3 months. On for 3 months, take a month off, and then again on for 3 months. EVERY RECOVERING CANCER PATIENT SHOULD BE INFORMED ABOUT TAKING KOREAN GINSENG!!!!!! IT MAKES A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY OF LIFE!!!

Ginseng has been helping me get a grip on my mind during finals season.
I’ve tried liquid extracts, which can be stronger and work immediately but taste absolutely foul,
and decided capsule form would be better for my needs.
The package came sealed and on time.
The ginseng is in a powdered form in clear vegiecaps.
I take this after breakfast with my other vitamins and really do feel a solid energy boost that lasts till evening.
Try not to exceed the recommended dosage or pop a pill after mid day.
In my experience side effects were: restlessness, anxiety, insomnia, and loss of appetite.
This is why I recommend taking it after breakfast (so you have something to settle your stomach),
before noon (so you’re not dealing with the excess energy in the middle of the night),
and only if you really need it.
Ginseng is NOT meant to be taken continuously everyday.
There are long term side effects (like liver damage), which is why I only use it during midterms/finals.

Good standardized product. So many of the red ginseng products list the weight in mg’s of the herb but that really tells one little. Knowing the active ingredients is helpful. Those with fatigue issues should research the latest studies with American ginseng. It was studied for patients with cancer and or going through chemo. The results were impressive. The red is much the same but with a more stimulating effect.
