This is a bit lengthy, but this probiotic saved me! I originally bought this because about 3 yrs ago I all of a sudden had a recurring yeast infection. I tried everything. I had only experienced one yeast infection in my life before this happened-I was 33 at the time. My OBGYN was at a loss and all he could do was prescribe an antifungal medication for me. But, on a visit to see him, he told me about the strains of bacteria that are most important for vaginal health. The probiotics I had been taking did not have a lot of these strains present. Most of what I had tried before was acidophilus only. I came across Fortify Optima Women’s Daily Probiotic, 50 Billion Live Cultures, 7 Strains, 30 Capsules at Kroger one day. It was on sale for 25 dollars. Its regularly 35! But I was so desperate. After taking it for about a week or two, I noticed my infection getting better. I mean, the results really were almost immediate. It took probably a year before I was completely back to normal, but I still cant be certain what caused this recurring infection, as I had had no trouble with yeast before. At any rate, since taking this probiotic, I havent had a yeast infection since, my stomach issues have improved tremendously, and I rarely get sick. Something like 80% of our immune system is based in our gut. And this probiotic has helped keep me healthy. NOTE-I tried popping the capsules out and putting them in a pill pack for convenience. I feel this effected the quality of the medicine. So, keep them in the foil until you are ready to use them. If you have yeast issues, Give this a shot! And dont give up if it isnt completely resolved in a week or two. It takes a long time to recover from severe and/or recurring yeast infections. But it is totally worth it.

These are the best probiotic supplement I have ever used, and I’ve tried numerous varieties over the years. They are more expensive than some of the more convenient options, but you get what you pay for, and these are top notch! They are especially helpful when you’re taking antibiotics that can result in secondary infections (such as yeast overgrowth). This product helps to combat that very efficiently! I would recommend these to any woman above other brands I’ve tried! They also don’t cause any gastric distress, as some probiotics can. These are truly miraculous.
