I have been buying this product for my 17-year old Autistic son for years. I call these his ‘happy’ vitamins. Somehow this product helps with his attention span, coordination, and behavior issues. Frustration and angry outbursts are diminished dramatically when he takes this supplement. His communication skills have improved since he began taking this product. Been giving these to my 7 yr. old for a while now. She is able to swallow them no problem. She also takes a high quality gummy multi-vitamin and gummy probiotic and occasional extra vit D gel caps. She has not been sick once this entire year. Not even a cold. I also believe these help support eye and brain function. We ran out for a while and I could see a difference in her focus. So we make sure to always have them on hand now and she takes 1 every night before dinner.

I bought these for my teen daughter as we follow the Biology of Behavior program by Dianne Craft.
My child can swallow capsules, one at a time, but highly prefers these soft gels and has been able to swallow two of them at once lately. She says they are slippery and it makes them easier to swallow.
After about two weeks, she reported to me (very enthusiastically) that her skin has cleared up tremendously and she had no acne at all anymore. This was a pleasant and welcome surprise for her!
She does report fishy tasting burps on occasion, but it’s nowhere near daily and isn’t enough for her to refuse taking them.

It is hard to find a children’s fish oil with evening primrose oil, especially at a good price. These gelcaps are small, but my daughter can’t swallow pills so she chews them and spits out the casing. They are not flavored, which would be nice, but they are mild and not fishy. (I have tried chewing one myself, and the taste is pretty plain) but I give her a flavored vitamin to chew right afterwards. The only negative is it has 3mg cholesterol per 2 capsules, and she needs 4 capsules/day to get 50mg GLA from evening primrose oil. I have heard that evening primrose oil capsules are tasty even unflavored, so I’ll probably start buying them separate and giving her a flavored fish oil to chew.
