There are a handful of herbal combinations that have been staples of Nature’s Sunshine for 30+ years. That’s because they were designed by Jeanne Burgess, the famous herbalist (bless her soul). You know these supplements because they end in J for Jeanne. I’ve used ALJ and STRJ (now called Stress J) for years and so have my children.
For the past two years I’ve been using Nutri-Calm. If you haven’t used Nutri-Calm, it comes in huge vegitabs that are like horse pills. They smell and taste horrible and you have to take three to have any effect. It is really hard to swallow those pills, especially three of them and they sit in your stomach for hours. I don’t think I’ve made it through an entire bottle. So I went back to STRJ (now called Stress J).
This is like a mini-Vicodin pill without any of the side effects. Within fifteen minutes of taking the dosage of 3 you visibly relax. If you have TMJ (temporomandibular joint syndrome) or PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome) this will do wonders for you. I have both and it made a noticeable difference right away. My jaw relaxed, my back relaxed, I stopped worrying about all the things I didn’t get done today and all the things I have to do tomorrow that I don’t want to do. Seriously.
