Item arrived packaged well and on time. I purchased these based on physician directions to take 1 1500 mg tablet per day 2 weeks prior to surgery and 1 week afterwards.
I took the first pill and it lodged on the right side of my throat. I coughed, drank tons of liquids both cold and warm to try to get it down. It finally went down around an hour later leaving me with a sore scratchy throat. For the next day, I broke the humongous pill in half, took the first half and it went down as it should, the second half got stuck on the left side of my throat
but dissolved in a few minutes after coughing and warm liquids.
I do not normally have an issue swallowing pills, but this is the LARGEST pill I have ever seen, truly a horse pill! I have 19 more days of trying to take these pills and truly dread it. I know that they are to help the body heal faster, but I am worried about chocking to death.
Please add a photo of the pill next to a quarter in your advertising to warn prospective buyers of the size. I am not sure if it is possible to make 1500mg in a smaller size, but it would probably save someone’s life.

This met my expectation for higher potency than many other bromelain products. But wish it was in capsule form as these tablets are large and a bit challenging to swallow..

I must tell to whom ever reads my review that this particular brand of Bromelain is the very best. I have tried a couple of other brands because they were a bit more inexpensive… none of them worked as good as this brand. I can’t live without them!! They’re great to control acid reflex and simply just to digest whatever is ingested or eating that makes one feel full or blotted full of gas!! As far as I know it also helps with the regeneration of destroyed cell in the lining of the stomach that comes from having excessive acid. I truly believe it does. I had such bad time with this common problem (extreme acid reflex) from taking TOMAXIFIN (it was so bad that I started to believe I already had cancer in my stomach, the pain was soooo bad it was horrible) I didn’t want to take any other synthetic pills as Privicid or the Purple pill… since I know that in time they can cost more problems so I looked into this particular BROMELAIN it was giving to me as part of my prescriptions when I had some work done with my dental reconstruction by my surgeon… At the time I didn’t know what they wore for I just took them… Later when my acid reflex got unbearable I wonder about this prescription and I looked into it and it was when I found the marvelous properties this pills have… I don’t know that may work for you or not but for me it’s GODS sent. They don’t have side effects even if they’re taking for a long time. One thing I noticed which is very pleasing is that the skin of my face got more softer and rosier…(I’m 60 years old) My younger son who is 31 tells me that he doesn’t understand why that every time he sees me I look younger to him… hehehe NIce complement. I think having my digestive truck in order helps to that glow… I hope this review will help you to decide to buy this particular brand of BROMELAIN. I have no sales connection with the company that sales or manufactures it. I’m just a simple costumer.

This bromelain is extra strength. The pills are big and can be difficult to swallow. If needed you can crush them and take them inside of applesauce or pudding. They can be bitter once crushed so it’s best to ‘hide’ it in something sweetish. I personally just swallow them with water. I use them as a natural blood thinner for heart health instead of Plavix. I have also used it for years as an anti-viral and an anti-inflamatory and it has always served me and my children well. If you catch a sore throat right away and take bromelain, your sore throat will be gone in 24 hours. Every bottle comes with a certificate of Analysis from an independent FDA approved testing laboratory to confirm quality.

If I don’t take my Bromelain, I experience not insignificant aches and pains. I’ve been taking this brand for years and it works well. Recently it was out of stock so I tried another brand, and it was only minimally effective.
