I’ve used this brand of papaya enzyme before, but purchased them in 180 count bottle from my local health food store. The ones I had before were sweetened just with fructose. However, these also contain Xylitol, which I don’t really like to use. Don’t know why the change in formula, but will purchase locally in the future to make sure I’m getting the right ones. (Note, I’ve ordered a 180 count bottle whose pictured label online didn’t show the Xylitol. Will have to see when they come in and request return if they aren’t Xylitol free)

These enzymes have been extremely helpful and are one of the few that do not have bad sugar alcohols such as Maltitol or Sorbitol.

This is one of the best digestive enzyme products I have ever used, and the best in terms of value for $s spent. Routinely (when needed i.e. if I over eat or eat fried/oily/greasy foods, or if I have eaten too much of something that has baking soda in it like quick breads or cookies) I will take 1/2 a tablet and frequently that is enough! If I still am not feeling good after 30-45 minutes I will take the other 1/2. I have been using this product for at least 20 years.

Been using this product since I was a child. My mom would give it to me when I had indigestion or upset stomach. You can use this “as-needed” or as a daily digestive enzyme supplement. I can’t say enough good things about this product! I use it just about every day to help aid in digestion/food absorption. (Also helps with heartburn, even during my pregnancies.) And the taste is GREAT (not chalky or like any other antacid. My kids frequently ask me for one when they see me taking it.
(Example: If you have indigestion & take 2 of these; usually within 10-15 mins you’ll burp up that air bubble & will start feeling better.)

When my preferred brand of papaya enzyme supplement was on backorder, I ordered these. They arrived pronto and although I still prefer the brand I typically purchase, NaturesPlus is an option I would consider again.

BUYER BEWARE: This product contains Xylitol which is a dangerous addictive. “Xylitol can reduce constipation, diabetes, obesity, and other body syndromes or illnesses; it has also revealed its stimulating effect on digestion and immune system. It can also produce some side effects such as irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, nephrolithiasis, etc., when consumed in excessive amounts.”
