My family and I love Lions Mane and all the benefits of taking it. We usually take capsules and not use a powder. We decided to try this. We add it to our coffee. It add a delicious flavor and I make my coffee as usual. This is a great amount of powder considering how much I put in my coffee. It should last me a while. The bag is 1lb! It’s all organic, and for the price and the amount you get it is well worth it! Capsules cost me way more and I get a lot less. This works great for us just adding it to our coffee.
Overall very happy with the Lions Mane powder.

Whether you believe in the nutrition benefits of mushroom supplements or not, if you clicked on this product you are likely to be interested. Lion’s mane mushroom is one of the most studied for purported benefits. In the case of this product that is what you get in a generous amount…and that is ALL you get: As per the listed ingredients: “Lion’s mane mushroom powder. Other ingredients: None”. (!!!) Though all my years ascertaining which supplements I trust, I have never come across such a label. You are getting the pure stuff. 24 karat gold. In a relatively large package that will last for a while.
I first tried it just mixed with milk as a milk shake. It does NOT have a strong mushroom flavor, so don’t think you can use it as a substitute for boletus or other mushrooms in sauces for the flavor. I have collected and cooked lion’s mane in the wild with same results – it’s not super mushroomy. But as an additive to shakes, sauces or other mushroom-oriented ingredients, this is top notch.

A pound. Seriously, that’s actually a lot of dried hericium erinaceus for just under twenty bucks! I’m into mycology and love the taste of lion’s mane and usually don’t have much success foraging, like other fungi, so being able to add some flavor to meals so affordably is a treat. Dehydrating reduces the weight dramatically, so I can only guess how many pounds of fresh mushroom is needed to make a pound of lion’s mane powder. The flavor of the powder is pretty mild, but familiar and enjoyable. I’m not getting into any other perceived benefits, balance your research by weighing whatever is important to you. In the end, it’s a nice quality, tasty, single-ingredient product, and it is so well priced ($19.99 at the moment).

I find that as I age, it gets harder to recall many details like appointments, names, where any given item was last left, etc., and I’ve found Lions Mane to be very helpful in preventing these little lapses. And this particular product allows me to adjust the dose little by little on those days that I feel a bit more foggy headed than others. I also have found this to be an easy form to administer to my 20 year old Chocolate Lab since it mixes well in his favorite peanut butter. Since getting it, my dog has more pep and energy, he doesn’t stay in bed all day, and generally seems more vigorous.

There is only one ingredient in this package… Lion’s Mane Mushroom powder. It is nice to see this in a product, where you are getting a pure form with no other ingredients. I love adding this to my coffee in the mornings and this will last me a while. There is a good amount of powder for a reasonably low price. I also appreciate the scoop that comes in the bag, it makes it easy to get the right amount. It has a nice nutty flavor that goes well in soups, coffee, and smoothies.
