I liked that the sodium was lower than the other brand I’ve used. I won’t buy again because it leaves a grainy residue. Like having fine sand between your teeth.

This is my first time trying collagen. After one month, my face is smoother and brighter. I was skeptical but really see a change. It dissolves in hot coffee fairly easily. I don’t taste it at all. It does contain as many servings as the label claims.

There is no doubt that collagen peptides help your nails grow stronger but I’m not sure on hair growth and wrinkles…..
but let’s say I think it can’t hurt, and may help by my experience/results.
Science backs all that, I think, so far.
I am a Nature Made brand fan for other products of their, due to the testing practices.
But now I wonder ….based on my recent experience with calling NM cust service.
THIS NM powder I tried (it was slightly less expensive than another major brand that worked well for a year, so I thought I’d try NM brand based on slightly lower cost.
I was totally disappointed in that the NM powder would not dissolve well, at all, in my morning coffee – it clumped/lumped up in the bottom of my mug. Annoying, and super inconvenient!
So I tried it with cold drinks…..even worse for dissolving well.
I called the NM cust svc # to ask why this is as happening…..and THIS call was the most disappointing of all, as calls in the past on their products have been (sometimes) for proper knowledge or answers.
This (will not dissolve in your drinks problem, and ends up as a sticky glue-type consistency in the bottom of your cup and wasted and it’s not exactly cheap), was NOT answered by the cust Svc rep.
Since Id tried dissolving the powder in hot drinks as well as cold drinks (only very hot drinks were slightly better in dissolving well) ….surely there are many customers with the same issue, OR those customers are not aware that another very popular brand and others I have tried thrift several years that DO melt/dissolve excellently, as soon as you put it in your drink.
With other brands, there’s NO residual residue, no clumping, no sticky glue type residues left in your glass with any OTHER collagen peptide brand (3) I’ve tried over 2 years.
The BIG problem to me was that the rep did not acknowledge ANY problem in dissolving, had NO clue, and says so….and just said it “should” dissolve, period.
What shocked me was he was not familiar with the product on a basic level, and had NO answer for me. I asked him if NM was aware of this (annoying/inconvenient/waste of some of the powder and money, etc), and told him other brands I’ve used do NOT clump/leave residue. What I wanted was an explanation for why or IF NM planned on trying to fix this problem, and also asked him if NM has commented AT ALL on this, or to the Reid they hour to answer questions…..
and his answer was NO, there’s NO info on this (big problem for usage) info they have on it to answer me, at all.
I then wondered HOW the brand I use (Vital Proteins) can be put in my morning coffee (super convenient, getting a great product that works but is annoying and a money waste if it won’t dissolve!) he was still clueless..
I asked him to double check to see if NM might have ANY notes he could see from them on this….he put me on a hold and says no, none.
So, while the product may work for you, NM is ONLY one I’ve found that’s going to waste your money in UNdissolved leftover gluey residue in the bottom of your glass /cup. Not pleasant, a waste of product.
I have returned to Vital Proteins, only slightly more expensive but worth it., as I don’t ever waste the product as with NM that sticks in the bottom of your glass.
With Vital Protein brand , it melts without barely stirring it, it’s as smooth fine grained as silk powder …
.and it has worked beautifully to strengthen my nails like no other nail products ever could……while NM may work (I don’t know….one bottle was all I used before calling NM about the big problem that it won’t dissolve well and leaves (wasted product) residue, NOT what you want in a collagen peptide powder, and never bought another….
And shame on NM for having NO answer to give their cust Svc reps to customers that ask who are answering their phones to address customers…..
That’s it’s THAT bad experience was what has not given me ANY trust or confidence to get credible info from NM – and now I wonder about their other products that may be harder to prove may work…..my confidence in their (non answer) on such a simple question- why doesn’t your product dissolve well – was simple enough…..and they have no answer they share or educate their reps to correctly answer the public. No, I do NOT recommend this product.

Really like this product! It came highly recommended and I mix it every morning with my black coffee! There is no taste in the coffee or after taste, dissolves easily, makes my hair and skin feel healthier😀👍
