There’s nothing wrong with it; it smells and tastes like a true propolis tincture, but it is paler, thinner, and has a weaker taste and smell than other brands I’ve bought. Perhaps this is due to being tinctured in glycerine instead of alcohol, as propolis is a resin. I think resins tincture best not only with alcohol, but they really need high-octane, 190-proof to extract their properties. If you have a choice, and can tolerate alcohol, I would go with an alcohol tincture of propolis rather than a glycerine one. This version isn’t bad, but I do think it’s weaker than others I’ve tried.

This product is one of the purest form of liquid propolis that I’ve tried. Taste is horrible but that’s the purity of it , strength is great I can only take a dropper full once a week for a month and that’s enough . Please do not over consume this product !!!! It has helped with pain and premenopausal knee swelling and fluid retention and stomach issues.

I really like this propolis. It is pretty mild in taste and is very effective. I use it as part of my dental routine.

I guess I should have known that since this product was a bit cheaper than other propolis tinctures, it would suck. To start with, the color was SO PALE compared the the other propolis tinctures I’ve used. Secondly, this tincture was thick, tasted sweeter and diluted with something. Worst of all, this tincture clumped up almost immediately, making the dropper completely useless. I’ve read as to why this happens and it’s because either the alcohol is not high grade or because there is too much wax used in the process of making the tincture. Since this tincture is alcohol free, it’s clearly the wax. This isn’t normal for quality propolis tinctures. This was a very frustrating process. I didn’t want to waste my money so I spent a very long time straining the wax. Never buying this again.
