This was a little different in texture than I expected, but it does leave my lips very soft. It’s creamy like a lotion, not oily at all like a gloss. I have been using this before bed to help combat my dry lips from the winter weather and the heat being on inside. I use it after I brush my teeth, right before bed and it keeps my lips hydrated. The description page says GEL but this is not a gel at all. It’s a “cream”.

I did not know what to expect when I got this. It has a really faint but very weird smell to it. No taste. However this really feels like a watered down lotion. It feels moisturizing for a little bit but then has a tacky feel, like when you use a cheap lotion and it just sits on your skin instead of being absorbed, leaving a white film behind. I have noticed a slight difference in my lips (I live in a desert so my lips are always chapped) but not enough to be worth $14. I definitely would not wear this out of the house either. It is a nice tube size, however I feel that my regular tube of chapstick will last longer than this lip serum.

You don’t need to squeeze much, the residual from a tiny bead is plenty. This product is going to last a very long time, even with multiple applications a day.
I’m not sure if it was me and my dry lips but I felt like I needed to use a lip scrub after applying it most of the time. It didn’t feel that way everytime, so I’m thinking it was moisturizing the flaky skin and that I should have used a scrub then reapplied. I keep forgetting to try that process.
It’s not like a typical lip balm like name brand type. It’s creamy and light. You will need to apply it frequently compared to those name brands but if you’re looking for something different I think you’ll enjoy it.

This lip serum is pretty good. It is a thin texture, as you would expect from a serum. I find that you do not need a heavy application for it to cover the lips. I like that it has so many natural ingredients. I prefer to use it at night before bed, my lips feel smooth and soft by morning. I have also used it a few times during the day, though I haven’t tried lipstick on top of it. I would probably give the serum time to soak in first. The one thing I do not like about it is that there is no flavor or scent. It needs something because though it is made with natural ingredients, there is something that I “taste” with a chemical flavor when I first put it on. It is a bit off putting. Aside from that, I like the product, though I don’t know if I would buy it again.

my wife takes medication that dries out her mouth and lips. unfortunately regular lib balm isn’t working well to help keep them hydrated. This actually works well for moisturizing and preventing dry, cracked lips. the only downside is the taste. i know you don’t eat it but when applying it you’re going to end up with some in your mouth. the taste is a very, lotion forward sort of flavor. not super pleasant at all. this doesn’t have any real scent which I’m happy for.
the size is generous as you really only need to apply a small amount. my wife has been putting it on at bedtime so her lips are nice and soft when she wakes up and its been working well.

I didn’t really like this lip serum. It dries my lips and tastes weird and chemically. I’m used to moisturizers I put on my lips tasting pleasant and leaving a layer of moisture behind but this was like putting lotion on – it soaks in and disappears, leaving nothing behind to protect my lips from the elements. I don’t think I’ll continue using this product and, unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.

This is a thin, white serum that has the consistency of a light lotion. It’s not thick like a lip mask or lip balm. It goes on smoothly, but it did not feel hydrating or protective against the cold. Even after I waited a half hour, it still felt slick, like it was just sitting on top of my lips, instead of sinking in. I felt like I needed to apply a regular lip balm on top of this.
This also had a floral scent that I did not care for. It might be ok in a body lotion, but I don’t like a floral scent/flavor on my lips.
