The capsules taste like bland gelatin, which is probably a good thing. They are small, so they are also easy to swallow, though I do recommend liquid to wash the capsule down.
The capsules themselves are fairly hard to break open without actually trying to, but if you manage it, there is a fish oil taste to the contents, which I am going to assume is from the Algae oil.
From what I understand, a strong fishy taste is a bad thing since it means that the oil has gone bad. These had a relatively light fishy taste, but I’d probably avoid storing them for too long.

This Omega 3 supplement arrived well packaged and in good condition.
Easy to swallow, and don’t get stuck on my tongue. They also don’t have a bad, fishy aftertaste or upset my stomach.
Omage-3 with folic acid. This is exactly what i need.

I’m taking these as I’m planning to have my baby soon. I appreciate that the Omega 3s are from microalgae and are not from large fish that’s been accumulating mercury and pollutants for years.
I like to know that there’s full spectrum Omega 3 with DPA in the supplement, as well as a good amount of Methylfolate. As for Vitamin D3 – 400 IU is on a lower side according to the neurologist whose recommendations I follow, but I get my vitamin D3 from an additional source.
It smells a bit like fish out of the bottle, but it’s fair for most marine products, I would think.
I have not had any stomach problems with these softgels and they are super easy to swallow, not large at all.
The price of the supplement is in line with competitors, considering that it has a daily dose of Folate, which would cost more to buy separately.

This is a high-quality omega-3 supplement that also contains folate and vitamin D. I love that the microalgae used in this product are sustainably grown and guaranteed free of contamination. The capsules are easy to swallow. They have a slight fishy smell but I couldn’t detect any fishy taste. Most people will find the fishiness very mild but women experiencing morning sickness may want to plug their noses if they are extremely sensitive to smells. These may lead to fishy burps but I haven’t burped yet after taking one. The regular price for these is expensive but I think this supplement is worth it. If they are too expensive for your budget, then you can wait for a sale like they’re having now and get them at a low price.

This vegan prenatal supplement combines sustainably sourced algae oil with DHA, EPA, and DPA, alongside vitamin D3 and active folate (L-5-MTHF), making it a comprehensive choice for maternal and fetal health. Its foundation on algae-derived omega-3 fatty acids highlights its commitment to sustainability and purity, free from the contaminants sometimes found in fish oil.
DHA, EPA, and DPA are crucial for supporting a baby’s brain, spinal cord, and eye development, making this an excellent choice for prenatal nutrition. The inclusion of algae-derived vitamin D3 supports bone health and immune function, while the active folate ensures proper neural tube development during early pregnancy, a vital component of prenatal care. Unlike synthetic folic acid, the L-5-MTHF form is bioavailable, making it suitable even for those with MTHFR gene variations.
Developed by neurologists, the formulation addresses brain-first nutrition, supporting mothers and babies through all stages, from preconception to postnatal care. Each serving delivers 1,040 mg of algae oil, providing a full spectrum of omega-3s in an easy-to-take, 2-softgel daily dose.
The product is vegan-certified, non-GMO, gluten-free, and soy-free, ensuring broad compatibility with dietary needs. Encapsulation in a cGMP-certified facility also guarantees quality and safety. Compared to fish oil-based alternatives, this supplement stands out for its eco-friendly sourcing and elimination of fishy aftertastes.
This prenatal supplement is an excellent choice for environmentally conscious individuals looking for a reliable and complete prenatal option that supports both maternal and fetal well-being. I plan to purchase more! Seems to be of high-quality.
