This smells good out of the package, but I don’t care for the way it smells on me. I used for about a week. Had to switch to something else.

My partner and I both absolutely love the smell of this soap. The cedar scent is very subtle while the clove scent is front and center. The soap itself isn’t particularly overdrying and my partner whom has very sensitive skin seems to have no adverse reactions to it, of course YMMV. The only grievance I have is that the black segment of the bar is so pigment dense, it stains washcloths and towels (ours are all white). Knowing that, we still bought more so obviously the soap justified the sacrifice of a few washcloths haha.

I had been searching for clove soap for awhile now and when I came across this soap I thought I’d give it a try. While it’s not exactly what I was looking for, it does pretty much satisfy my needs for clove soap. The cedar is an extra added bonus!
