Interesting that the previous two reviewers had such a negative experience with this product, as my experience has been the opposite. I have had two severely compressed disks in my lower back that I have managed well with optimal levels of antioxidants and minerals for almost 20 years. I started taking Protease-NK a few months ago for a knee problem at the suggestion of my chiropractor, and after following the instructions (you take 10/day for 12 days, then reduce to 4/day) I did notice some relief with my knee, but eventually I stopped taking it. Fast forward – I do not remember what the trigger was, but I developed a persistent low-grade sciatica about 2 months ago radiating out from my lower back. It went ballistic last week. I don’t take OTC pain meds – too many insanely toxic “inert ingredients” – and I avoid prescription meds as much as possible, so decided to try the Protease-NK again. Long-story-short, these enzymes are the ONLY thing that touches the pain. Frankly, if my medical doctor had laughed at the idea that enzymes, vitamins or minerals could have a positive effect on my ability to manage my health and well being, I would start looking for another doctor. As an alternative to OTC or prescription meds for pain associated with arthritis, joint and sciatica, this product has definitely helped me. Will it help you? Everyone is different, so I can’t answer that question. Is it worth trying? I think so. But I also suggest that you DO check with your doctor or healthcare practitioner before starting something new, do your research, because if you are taking other products, supplements or prescription meds, you want to be sure there are no contra-indications.

I Really didn t see any change. Not impressed.I trired it everyday for about a month for fibromyalgia, never really felt alot off relief.

I bought this a few years ago directly from Natural Living when I was first diagnosed with both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. I was asymptomatic but my ra factor on a blood screen came back as positive (which doesn’t mean much). Further testing indicated I did have very early stages of both types of arthritis but since I was in little pain, the rheumatologist advised just having him monitor me. But I somehow decided after a bit that I was in pain and somehow found this drug that promised the world on their website along with some deal to buy 5 bottles. So I bought the deal. Maybe I used it, honestly can’t remember. Fast forward to today. I am in a lot more pain, see a different rheumatologist every six months and am actually being monitored through blood screens, x-rays of feet and hands, etc. Cleaning out a closet, I found the bottles of this and showed them to my doctor who reacted as I expected-he laughed and told me to toss them. He read the ingredients and said none were known to have any valid “pain relief” and he didn’t recognize a couple of the ingredients because they seemed to be some “blend” of enzymes. Please show your doctor before ever buying this (or any other “sounds too good” non-FDA garbage. There’s a lot out there!
