The Natural Elephant Body butter with shea butter and cocoa has the consistency that is soft, creamy, and has a luxurious feel to it. This luscious green cream came securely sealed in a jar and has a combination of a sweet lightly floral scent with a touch of citrus. I applied it liberally after my shower and it feels so smooth on my skin, softening the dry patches that occur during the winter months. It does not feel sticky after application, and it was quickly absorbed into my skin making it feel well hydrated. This body cream also has the combination of vitamins of A and E which promotes healthy looking skin and elasticity. I love the feel of this cream and it helps dry and cracked skin with its moisturizing ingredients especially on my knees, elbows and heels. Would definitely recommend this product!

This is a very nice body butter. It comes in a large tub and is nine ounces. It has a whipped feeling to it. I hate when lotions make me feel greasy, especially my palms. This one does not feel that way at all. It absorbed very quickly and left my skin feeling smooth and soft. The scent is supposed to be lemon, but I feel like it smells more like a lemon grass. The scent is very strong and lingers, so if you are not a fan of a heavy scent that lingers you probably would not enjoy this. Overall it is an excellent moisturizer and I really like it.

The smell is nice. Not vanilla at all, but a crisp clean lotion smell which I enjoy. The texture is odd, though. It is very thick, almost gelatinous. Feels like a balm. In one picture I included it shows the amount on my finger after dragging my finger deeply across. Hardly any came off. I had little spatulas laying around so I used those to get it out and it spreads nicely and absorbs quickly. I wouldn’t call it a butter, but as a thick balm it is rather nice. Just not as advertised.

This review is for the Natural Elephant Body Butter in lemon scent.
This lotion is 9 oz and for the price, falls a bit on the more expensive side per ounce.
There are some natural ingredients which is nice.
The lotion has as a smooth light texture and spreads easily. The lotion feels good but I wouldn’t say rich because it doesn’t feel very thick at all. The lemon scent is mild, not offensively strong, and fades quickly after application. The scent reminds me of a lemon pie.
There are instructions to apply after a shower to maximize moisture retention on the skin and I would agree with that. When applying on my skin, I noticed it being absorbed quickly and does not feel greasy at all and my skin does look and feel smoother and softer.
I wash my hands frequently. Do note that this lotion does not last with a wash, so you will have to reapply after washing your hands/skin.
Also note that one of the product description photos shows the lotion filled above the lip of the jar. That is not what you will get.
My pictures were taken right after opening and reflects the actual amount you should expect to get in a jar.
In summary, this Natural Elephant Body Butter is good and reminds me of the type of lotion you might find at a nice hotel or spa. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I would recommend giving it a try.

I really like this body butter! It is thick and feels luxurious to apply. It is very similar to other body butters I have purchased at bath/soap stores, and it seems just as good as other brands. I like that it is still creamy, even though it’s a heavier lotion. It sinks into the skin quickly and does not make me feel greasy. There are many natural ingredients in this product, which is great. It makes my skin feel moisturized and softer. I got the mango scent, and it smells wonderful! It is fairly strong, so if you are sensitive to scents, you might find this a little overpowering. The scent stays on my skin for a few hours before fading.
I recommend this if you enjoy natural body butters! It would also be a great gift. It is relaxing to apply and makes my skin feel more hydrated. I also appreciate that it has an expiration date on the bottom of the container (mine expires over 2.5 years from when I received it, so even though it’s a large container, I am sure I will use it all before it expires).
