I bought this because my friend let me use some for attending the Marine Corps ball and said it helped with hangovers. I don’t typically consume enough alcohol to feel hungover, but I get horrible “hangxiety” and thought this might help using the same principle. I woke up feeling great!

It says it’s deodorized but omg it is not. It smells like skunk and burnt rubber. But it does work.

It is very difficult to review a supplement because we don’t really know if they are working, right? This pill seems to be what it is advertised. It does have the bad odor and I am guessing it is maintaining my health in the way it is supposed to. I take it to help out my kidney/liver and I am really hoping it does do that, but all I can really do is have faith it does what it is designed to do. As far as how easy it, the pill is quite large so if you have problems with large pills, you may want to discuss this with your doctor. I take this pill and about 7-8 others at the same time, and generally do this all at one time, so I don’t have a problem, but I know many people do. It’s all in what you, personally, can handle.

The vanilla removes the ick smell mostly when taking these.

I’ve been struggling with respiratory issues for over 5years now and after hearing about NAC I am hopeful this will help me never have to use an inhaler again!
The first product I tried was a new product that’s delicious blue gummies but after more research I realized they were waaaay too weak at 300mg. Per 2 gummies. Recommended dosage to see a significantly positive change recommended dosage is between 600-1800mg. In saying that each of these capsules are 600mg. Making this far superior in price, ease of taking proper dosage and they claim to have a much better absorption rate in the body.
First observation so far is I’m glad they’ve been “deodorized” because NAC must be super stinky lol….you can slightly smell something offputting but it’s pleasant enough to get it down without fully being exposed to it.
The fact that these are 600mg. per capsule and it’s a 90 day supply also offers you the option to take the highest suggested dose at 1800mg. Per day for a full month. I’m no doctor or suggesting what you personally should take but if it’s something you’ve been recommended to try out this is a great product option to consider.
I’ll update once the bottle is empty.

The reviews were 50/50 on the product so I thought I’d give a chance. I normally get this supplement at Walmart, for the same price I can get 1000 mg so I don’t understand why the dosage is lower. The deodorizer also doesn’t really work, when I open the bottle or my pillbox I can smell the sulfur. It’s not so bad I can’t take them but it is very noticeable; maybe lemon would work instead, that’s what’s used to get the odor out of fish oil and it works. Overall it’s still a good supplement and does the job but I doubt I will buy it again unless it’s all I can find.

I cannot really make any statements as to the actual quality or efficacy of this NAC product because I have not and will not try it. The bottle arrived with no plastic seal on the outside covering the lid, and more disturbingly, no paper or foil seal covering the hole beneath the lid. In the thousands of purchases of various supplements I’ve made, I’ve never encountered this. So this means that this was a previously opened and returned bottle, or that it was tampered with, or that there is some serious production problem at their factory. Whatever the reason, not good. (Note: I’ve seen photos of other folks with this product in the review section, and those bottles were sealed.)
Naturally I tried the usual Amazon options for a return. Going through the first standard process of choosing a reason and typing in a brief description of the issue, instead of a resolution, it led to a page that suggested I contact the manufacturer. The primary link was a dead one. Another link led to a complaint form on the company’s company’s website. I filled this out five days ago and have still not heard anything. So I repeated this process several times, thinking I might have made a mistake or something along the way, but no, the Amazon form led me back into the same endless Kafkian loop.
So, next I tried to get a phone call from Amazon, which usually resolves matters quite well. This time however, instead of a human being, I got an AI-ish robo call with no option to speak to a real person. This was dumb AI, and it kept asking the same questions I had just answered, and one step only led back to a previous step. Again no resolution. I tried back several times, thinking there might be a way around its stupidity, but no, nothing but more endless Kafkian loops. (Question: have they done away with human customer service reps?)
I then tried the chat option. More of the same! Asking questions that I’ve just answered and getting no resolution.
I filled out a “rate this transaction” form on Amazon, expressing my frustration and disgust. Heard nothing from them.
After waiting a few days and still hearing nothing from the manufacturer, I decided to give it another go. Same thing for the first two options, BUT this time, much to my shock, the chat miraculously answered that I would be getting a refund.
So this makes me wonder: Why didn’t they do this the first hundred times I tried? Does Amazon have an algorithm that resolves your issue ONLY AFTER they’ve tortured you silly? I mean, that was truly bizarro land!
Anyway, I will not know whether this is good NAC or not, as I will just chuck the bottle. However, it does have a very unusual smell for NAC. Instead of the usual slightly sour and sulfurous smell of every different brand of NAC I’ve tried, this brand suspiciously has a very artificial vanilla pie aroma. Odd.
Hope this helps.
