I ordered these for a specific reason. While on vacation awhile a go, I somehow overused my foot and suddenly I was in pain if I walked too far. It was quite frustrating as it wasn’t exactly sprained. Rather, I had just irritated the tendons in my foot. I went to a podiatrist who prescribed a boot that kept my foot from flexing too much when I walked. Over time, my foot got better but I then found that my Achilles tendon started acting up. Apparently these boots can cause that issue. Well I have had this issue with my Achilles tendon for several months now where if I move my ankle in a particular way, it is quite painful and it just won’t seem to heal.
I decided to try this product and while it could be just the timing of things, my foot has definitely gotten quite a bit better and I am quite pleased.
As others have mentioned, two of these pills are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach three times a day. This is hard, at least it was for me. So often I had days where I only took two pills, other days 4 or 6. But over time I have noticed a definitive improvement with my annoying foot problem so I am very happy with the results. Is it definitely this supplement that can be credited with helping my healing ? I can’t say but I do give it the credit as I have struggled with my problem for months and now I am so much better now. So I give it 5 stars.

I looked very hard to find the recommended dosage in the product description. It was easy to see that the bottle contained 60 capsules. I figured that probably meant a 30-day supply so went ahead and ordered. I just received my order and lo and behold the recommended dosage is 2 capsules 3x daily. So I paid $41.76 (tax included) for a 10-day supply. I feel that the product description was not forthcoming about the true cost of this supplement, which is $1,524.24/yr if taken as recommended. I will not be ordering.

I really like the Enzyme Science brand. Since they specialize in enzymes, I trust they have a greater level of expertise and quality, with their enzymes.
I have Lyme and the proteolytic enzymes are known to be really helpful for breaking up bacterial proteins and biofilms. I can feel the Lyme in my muscles, so the fact that these are for muscle and joint function is great!
I’m really careful to take them at least 30 minutes before meals or 2+ hours after a meal. I heard that if you take them too close to a meal, they end up digesting your food versus digesting other things, such as damaged proteins (or Lyme biofilms).
Before I started taking this supplement, I was taking Enzyme Defense Pro, which is also by Enzyme Science. I think the Enzyme Defense Pro was probably created for people with Lyme and other bacterial issues. But I also think (and this is what I’ve been told from my Lyme doctor) it’s good to rotate supplements because the body likes change. Therefore, I think the MyoMend is a great alternative, to rotate in and out. Rutin is a bioflavonoid and the bromelain and papain are both enzymes which are anti-inflammatory and wound healing. I can benefit from all of them. I’m really happy to be taking the MyoMend for now.

You need to make sure to follow the directions on the package. Take this 3 times a day and on an empty stomach (very important). You can take for a week and see how you feel. I have found this dose perfect for my body type.
