    I’ve tried many brands and types of creatine over the years. Creatine is almost magical when you first take creatine – particularly monohydrate. My experience is when I stop taking creatine and my creatine stores drop over the following weeks, I get noticeably flatter (muscles aren’t as full). When I start again, I quickly return to my previous level of muscle fullness.

    Mutant Creakong has three types of creatine : monohydrate, magnesium chelate, Tri-creatine Citrate…most brands only have the most common type: monohydrate. I’ve also had creatine with four and five types. Unfortunately, Creakong’s 3 type combo made no difference.

    Bottom line: my experience says creatine is creatine (excluding creatine HCL- but this review would be too long getting into that). I’ve given Creakong a good try having used 4 containers (300 servings total) as directed… and I did this after not taking any creatine for almost 6-weeks. It works no better, no worse than other reputable creatine brands. It works fine, but nothing spectacular.

    3 stars since it’s just like other [non-HCL] creatines (for me). Creakong could be 2 stars considering it’s value (price to quantity to performance) – it is an expensive creatine with only 300 grams — giving it 3 stars because I appreciate the quality of Mutant products.
