Mustela is a trusted brand in my household, ever since my son developed eczema as an infant. We had tried many different products in an effort to clear his skin, and Mustela provided consistent relief. My son’s outbreaks are fewer now, but flare-ups do still happen, especially in the winter months or when he has spent a lot of time in the heavily chlorinated public pool where he takes swim lessons. This duo of cleansing gel and hydrating cream came just in time for one such outbreak. He had very dry patches above his wrists that were starting to turn pink. I immediately slathered on a layer of the hydrating cream after his shower. By the following morning, his skin was nice and supple and soft. I repeated this for the rest of the week and his eczema cleared right up. As for the cleansing gel, we’ve used it a few times on him and have found his sensitive skin to do well with it. Because his skin is prone to drying, we don’t soap up his entire body every day. Instead, we use it on his face, hands, feet and bottom, unless he has been swimming. On swim days, we soap him up from top to bottom, clearing up any chlorine smells (which didn’t always work with other soaps).
I love that this product is fragrance-free and organic, and doesn’t contain any unnecessary ingredients. EWG’s Skin Deep ranked both products in this duo pack in the “best” category, meaning it’s not only better for you, but better for the environment. This gift set comes with a cleansing gel that is meant for body/shampoo and a cream. The cleansing gel is super mild and gentle and cleans without drying out my kids skin. It is scent free also which is something we prefer. The cream that comes with the set felt a little more like lotion because it was a bit more liquidy than other creams we used. Surprisingly, this more liquid consistency didn’t change the how well this hydradates and how it forms a moisture barrier on the skin. It really helps moisturize my child who has eczema’s skin and prevent it from cracking. However, after I’m done applying it on my kids, I have this cream left on my hands. On my hands this cream feels a tad on the greasy side as it takes quite a while for it to absorb into my hands.
Overall this is a great gift set to any parents who are looking for a very mild and gentle bath set for their babies. It body/shampoo gel doesn’t dry out and the cream helps to moisturize sensitive dry skin.

I was surprised at how much I truly like this set. I mean lotion and body gel is usually OK. This stuff takes it to another level for your skin, though. First – it is completely neutral in scent. I mean it smells like nothing – how do they do that? Both the gel and the lotion “smell” the same. They both leave the skin feeling great. I am most pleased with the lotion, though – but that is because my hands always look a bit dry near the knuckles, I have allergies and anything can set my hands off. Even with just one application before bed the first day, my hands were amazingly better looking by the next morning. A little goes a long way too. And it is easily able to be massaged in – but then it is absorbed – almost like your hands then feel “set” and just slightly dewy. It is not greasy at all. Plus, again – my hands look GOOD! I would easily and totally get this again – gotta keep those hands looking good! : )
Plus, it is ORGANIC and Clearly Marked VEGAN – which is super awesome! I would easily expect to pay double for the same type of products and results.

I love this set. It’s super gentle, it lathers, and the lotion a little bit goes a long way definitely hydrating. No scent no fragrance I love that so it doesn’t bother my babies skin , I use this for both my toddlers and for myself as well. The stelatopia gel broke my 1 year old out I was disappointed but this set does not ! I love it , will purchase again.

This is a nicely packaged, great little kit! These are full size and so fantastic!
The lotion has a hard plastic safety seal on the cap (it took me a moment to figure out how to snap it off). And, the lid does not easily twist off, so you know that this arrives to your home safe for baby (and even for you). The lotion is thinner and this great because there is no drag or pull on sensitive skin. It distributes quick and evenly. It does take a little bit of time to absorb, but it will happen. And then your skin is going to feel very soothed. Half the family has eczema and this really, really made them feel better. I am so grateful for that!
The cleansing gel container is large, has a safety collar around the neck (remove that before using), and is truly fragrance-free. It is a thin product as well and that means no add drag or pull on delicate skin. It does not lather (like most cleansing products for delicate skin) but it cleans super well. And, it rinses very easily.
If anyone in your home suffers from eczema, has delicate/sensitive skin, this is a true gift. So gentle on skin. So healing. I am very grateful for this caring product! Very highly recommended!

This gift set has the wash which is gentle on baby skin and does not cause it to dry out. The cream is rich and absorbs easily into baby’s skin. There’s not much of a scent to either. I love that this set is so gentle I don’t worry about my baby breaking out or getting itchy with it. The ingredients are organic and I feel safe washing my baby with this wash.
