I absolutely love this MuscleTech Smart Thermo Supplement!!! I am a person who is sensitive to everything but wanted to give this a shot for the energy benefits knowing how reputable the brand is. It’s wonderful!!!
*The taste is out of this world and I wish it was a drink I could have several times a day! It is hard to explain, but at first sip it tastes sweet and fruity, then when it hits the back of your throat there is a subtle heat and it is so good.
*With littles in the house, and being foster parents, sleep is scarce and by lunch I am needing a nap. I drink 1 scoop of this with about 10-12 ounces of water around 10:30/11AM and I have so much energy for the rest of the day.
*As I mentioned above, I am sensitive to supplements of this type, and am thrilled that this does not give me any jitters, unhappy stomach, no burping strange tastes, etc. I have had not a single negative reaction to this! I even ordered more while it’s on sale to make sure I don’t run out for a while!
The only reason I dropped it down a star is because the price is a tad high in my opinion. I am cautious of trying new items if I can’t financially continue them when I need to order more, but with sale pricing I can keep this going a little longer. Thank goodness because this drink is AMAZING and it is my daily go-to now!!!

I bought this because of the paraxanthine in it, which is the main metabolite of caffeine that is just as effective at making you awake, energetic, and motivated but with little to no jitters, anxiety, and heart palpitations. It also doesn’t really disrupt my sleep and I don’t think I develop much dependence or tolerance to it. It also has little to no withdrawal symptoms.
I tried it out, and it was better than I expected.
The other stuff in it is also great and all of it seems to be safely dosed. It is a great product and I really like it.
Try it out and support this product so they keep making it because this is great! I’m a supplement nut and I’ve tried so many things before, but this is like a holy grail.

I’ve been in this for a couple weeks now. The taste I’m actually super impressed with. At first it’s sweet and fruity like mango with hints of watermelon (real watermelon too, not artificial) then can come in strong and spicy at the end, that varies by how much you drink at once. As far as effectiveness I was able to quit drinking 4 monsters a day and switch to this as an alternative and I actually gained energy with no afternoon crashing. Since starting this 2 scoops a day regime I have lost 25 pounds, it’s going on two months but I just opened the second bottle this week. 10/10 definitely recommend!

This gives the best energy without any jitters. I take 1-2 all through out the day, that 2 o’clock slump is gone almost instantly. Has not affected my sleep one bit. I am on bottle 2 my first bottle I shared with the nurses I work with so it went rather fast . Now there are 4-5 bottles of this stuff at the nurses station as everyone is sold. It doesn’t not effect cognition, in fact our sassy wit has improved as well as our patient care. With caffeine the withdrawal made some irritable, you do not get that with this product .

Overall, it’s a decent product that contains many of the ingredients I use before working out anyway. I love the EuphorIQ product, specifically for the Enfinity / Paraxanthine, so I figured I’d try this out, too. I prefer paraxanthine to regular caffeine because it’s the one metabolite that doesn’t cause you to feel like crap later, and it has a slightly faster half-life, so it’s out of your system before bedtime if you use it early enough. Before fasted cardio, I’ll also use carnitine, taurine, grains of paradise, huperzine (all in this product), and a few other things. For convenience’s sake, this is a quick way to take a small scoop and get everything you want in a pre-workout.
I have two problems with Burn IQ…
1) The taste is absolutely horrendous. I’ve only tried Sweet Heat, so maybe Mango Chili Lime is better, but I’m not inclined to buy it and try it since I know it’s going to take me a looong time to use up this tub. I’ve trained seriously for 15 years and there was one protein powder I used years ago that tasted exactly of cough syrup, but more caustic. This product is worse… by a lot. If you can stand the taste, the ingredient combo could be worth it for you.
2) The dosing for grains of paradise is too high. It’s 20mg or 40mg for 1 or 2 scoops, but it would probably be better at 10mg or 20mg, respectively. 10mg is usually enough to get you sweating and feeling the ‘heat’ in a good cardio session, so 20mg+ is a lot. For anyone trying to get 300mg of paraxanthine (remember, caffeine metabolite), you’d be taking in 40mg grains of paradise — no wonder you’re feeling the heat! That feeling, though, has never been pleasant for me. It’s reminiscent of extremely low blood sugar, when you’re about to pass out from diabetic shock. For first time users, I strongly recommend not using more than 1 scoop… maybe even half a scoop. If you need more caffeine, add some from another product into this mix (which could also help the taste).
Overall, I loved EuphorIQ and would have loved to use Burn IQ while dieting down for a show, but the two drawvbacks make it unlikely I’ll ever purchase more than one tub. Once this tub is done, I’ll stick to EuphorIQ and/or concocting my own preworkout combos from various ingredients.
