These taste great and were a good price but contain too much sugar for what I was looking for.

Great taste and I’ll buy again.

It started off tangy, awakeninging my tastebuds. It ends with the most disgusting taste that lingers, despite chugging my beverage. The flavor is akin to licking rusty metal. I tried barely chewing it and swallowing before it changed, but it rigorously assaulted my poor tastebuds. Repulsive!

I’m glad to have found a prenatal with iron it was really hard to track one down! But sadly you can taste the iron which makes them hard to consume

I am not pregnant, but I prefer to continue to take pre-natals while I am breastfeeding post-partum. I believe this flavor would have gone down well while I was pregnant. I suffered from excessive nausea, so flavor and texture are very important. They have a sweet tart taste that I like. However, they are very soft. It is personal preference, but I know that might have bothered my nausea. I like the more solid gummies.

First of all, let me make it clear that I am not pregnant, nor expecting to be so; I am way past that stage of life. Nevertheless, I am always on the lookout for decent supplements that are food-based and don’t contain excessive amounts of essential nutrients. This one looked like a possibility.
These taste pretty good and are easy to chew and swallow. I wasn’t sure I would like them, since raspberry is not a flavor I typically enjoy, but these weren’t as tart-tasting as most raspberry products seem to me.
The dosages of the vitamins and minerals listed on the label are not as excessive as some I have seen. With the exception of Vitamin D3 and folate (Vitamin B9), two gummies a day would provide from 29-100% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamins A-E, biotin, choline, iron, iodine and zinc for a pregnant or nursing woman. The B9 is not an issue, since you eliminate any this water-soluble vitamin you don’t need through your urine. But it’s not a good idea to take more than 100% of Vitamin D3, since it is possible to overdose on this fat-soluble vitamin. Since two gummies provide 133% of D3, I only took one gummy per day.
I appreciate that the iron in this supplement is ferric saccharate, rather than ferrous sulfate, since I am allergic to sulfates. When I was pregnant, I had horrible morning sickness until I realized that was the case and switched to prenatal vitamins with ferrous fumarate instead.
The label didn’t specifically indicate that the vitamins and minerals in these gummies are food-based. It did say they are gluten- and nut-free, as well as vegetarian. While I appreciate that they do not have mega-doses of B Vitamins, they did make me hungrier than usual between meals.
Although I was hoping the small amount of glucose syrup and sugar in the gummies would not affect me that much, I did find myself craving sweets more often than I normally do with my low-sugar diet. I would prefer these were sweetened with fruit juice, rather than sugar and syrup. When I took them in the morning or at lunchtime, I got much more hungry than I normally would before the next regular meal. If I took them with the evening meal, I woke up in the wee hours of the morning feeling weak with hunger. Since I learned later in life that morning sickness is the result of unstable blood sugar levels, I think it would be better to take one of these at breakfast or lunchtime, so you aren’t sick from low blood sugar by morning from taking them at night.
At about $16 for 90 gummies (18 cents each), these seem reasonably priced. Depending on whether you take one or two a day, you’re getting a month-and-a-half or three-month’s supply for that amount. Food-based vitamins are definitely better than ones produced in a laboratory, but if you can’t afford the more healthful variety, these aren’t bad.

These vitamins seem to be a pretty good option for someone needing prenatals. I like the raspberry flavor and I did not feel they had a yucky after taste like other gummies I’ve tried. They are slightly sweetened (3g sugar listed), so if this is something you like to avoid, I would take note of this. They appear to include a complete list of vitamins and minerals compared to other prenatals I’ve taken. The gummy texture is firm on the outside but actually pretty chewy once you get into it. I like these as a change from the usual larger pills to swallow. No side effects noted when taking these personally. I do take them in the morning with food. I also like that these do not include any synthetic dyes. Overall these are a good vitamin.
Customer –
These are good prenatal multivitamin gummies that have included iron, which a lot of vitamins don’t have and is really essential for prenatal health. In fact it’s common to take a dedicated iron supplement for that reason. So having them already is a big bonus. These are in gummy format which is definitely easier to take than a pill you have to swallow with water. Now the taste is okay. I’m sure some will like it, but I thought it was kind of off. Not yucky by any means but not the best taking vitamin gummy I’ve had either. Quite possible the iron throws things off. Also there are 3g of sugar which is kind of a lot. If you are trying to cut out sugar from your diet then this is probably not the best vitamin to get. But aside from that the nutrition component is pretty on point so if you like your vitamins in gummy format and are seeking prenatal vitamins then these are quite good.
