I take a B Complex supplement everyday. Methylated suppose to be bioavailable and have better absorption. So I figured I would try it out. However, the price for 30 capsules makes it prohibitive for most people. Do your research.

The Peak Performance store sells this “Methylated Multivitamin + Methylated B Complex Supplement. With Trimethylglycine (TMG), L Methylfolate, Methyl B12 + B1 + B2 + B6 Vitamins + Choline. MTHFR Supplement For Women & Men. Vegan Capsules” in a bottle of 30 capsules. The capsules are about average size, a little over 1 cm in length, not too difficult to swallow, but not the smallest either.
The supplement facts lists the following as being delivered significantly above 100% of daily values:
Vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B9, ranging between 250% and 962%, which is very abundant for this family of vitamers.
Vitamin B12 is at a whopping 41667% of DV. This is aka Methylcobalamin; it is also used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, and as a preliminary treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Fortunately there is no human data for adverse effects from high doses of this vitamin.
These capsules really deliver various forms of vitamin B, but in very high doses. I think it would be advisable to consult with a dietician before consuming these on a regular basis. Nevertheless, the product is impressive, five stars.

This Methylated Multivitamin/Methylated B Complex Supplement by Peak performance is a fast-acting mostly B complex vitamin. It contains Trimethylglycine (TMG), L Methylfolate, Methyl B12 + B1 + B2 + B6 Vitamins all in moderate quantities. I find this is a good way to serve up B vitamins as I feel the primary need is for brain function improvement. I take my vitamins in the morning and want the brain moving and processing well right away, not delayed.
For education purposes, I share the importance of what methylated means from an online search – as quoted “When methylation in a vitamin happens, that means the vitamin has a better impact on the body. The methylated form of vitamin B is known as the “active form” which means that it doesn’t have to go through the methylation process in the body. Instead, it is ready to be used immediately.”
I recommend watching the eye opening, mind opening, video that came with the add, the 32 minute one. Great stuff to learn!
The one thing I don’t like about this supplement is they put “methylated multivitamin” on the front of the label. When I see multivitamins shown I expect a whole bunch of ingredients. This should have been labeled as a ‘B Complex’ supplement as the ingredients match that of the typical B-Complex. Minor detail for a great product, 5 Star!

I am not a pharmacist or chemist so the description as being “methylated multivitamins” remains a mystery to me. But I assume it cannot be a bad or harmful technology. After all these are supposed to be helpful to our daily well being. The ingredients are pretty positive. However, a bunch of normally included vitamins are missing. It is therefore that I take these in combination to my regular daily dose of multivitamins. Not having had any negative side effects.
