I have more faith in supplement brands that incorporate quality ingredients that come in preferred forms. VitaMedica does just that. Instead of folic acid, this formula offers the more bioavailable form—folate. The same goes for Vitamin B12—better absorbed methylcobalamin is used instead of cyanocobalamin. More impressive, patented, well-researched ingredients are also added to this supplement. The minerals found in this complex are from one source, Albion Laboratories, under the trademark TRAACS™. That company is a leading global supplier of chelated minerals, a more bioavailable form and better absorbed product. Vitamin A comes as Betatene®, a mix of naturally occurring carotenoids that include beta and alpha carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin. Most important to me is the inclusion of Tocobeads®, which provides natural forms of Vitamin E that include both mixed tocopherols and mixed tocotrienols—a total of eight compounds.

6 pills is a lot, especially in just one supplement, a vitamin. Three in the morning and three with dinner; feeling very regimented and scheduled. I take other supplements as well, so 6 more seems excessive.
$46 for a month is pretty expensive, especially since I take multiple supplements.
I appreciate that these are made in the USA, as I trust that they are quality and contain exactly what’s listed on the label.

They were easy to swallow and I felt more energy within the second week. I feel my body truly absorbed these vitamins. (I have tried many brands.) After 2 months of these, I switched to the Anti-aging packets. Very pleased.

This vitamin and mineral supplement comes in two bottles, one for daytime, labeled Energy Support and with a yellow tablet, and one for evening, labeled Bone Support and with a white tablet. These tablets are large, but they are coated, so they are not hard for me to swallow. The product photos online only show the label for the evening vitamins. With the evening vitamins, the Bone Support, there are some items that provide more per serving than 100% of the recommended daily value, with the most extreme being Vitamin B6, which provides 1324% of the daily value. When I ordered these vitamins, I figured, no problem, I’ll just take one of the evening tablets instead of three to try and minimize the excess. However, when I saw the label for the daytime vitamins, I realized that even taking just one tablet of the daytime bottle would not drop the percentages down to what I consider a comfortable range. For example, the daytime dose of vitamin B12 is 16875% of the recommended daily value. That’s right, over SIXTEEN THOUSAND times the recommended daily value. Now I know the product description says that these vitamins are physician formulated. I also know that some people have nutritionally poor diets or other health issues that cause them to have vitamin deficiencies. I don’t fall into this category, however, and I don’t wish to take over sixteen thousand times the daily recommended value of anything. There are a number of other nutrients in the daytime bottle that are also thousands of times the % daily value, so it’s not just the Vitamin B12 that I would be megadosing on, even if I only took one tablet instead of 3. My rating of 2 stars is partly because of the insanely excessive doses in the daytime vitamins, but also because there was no photo warning me of this in advance. If there had been, I would never have ordered these vitamins in the first place.
