    Mucinex-DM (must be DM) relieves coughing during the day and incredibly throughout the night when you’re laying down. A friend recommended Mucinex-DM when I was a smoker years ago after I had a horrible cough for weeks — I thought I was going to lose my mind. After starting Mucinex-DM my persistent cough was gone within a day, I couldn’t believe it. Now that I’m a non-smoker I can get rid of a cough with just one or two tablets.
