I bought these motion sickness pills in advance of an upcoming Ireland trip where we would be doing a lot of driving on winding roads. I’m typically someone that gets fairly carsick, and I often just have to close my eyes for a lot of car trips.
How I used this medication: the medication advises to take at least a half hour in advance, and that’s probably an accurate suggestion. Most days I took this first thing in the morning as it seems to effectively last all day and I had no issues. One time I forgot and took while already in the car, and it probably took between 15-30 minutes to take effect.
Results: I had no issues with car sickness while using this medication. It was life changing for a vacation with a lot of travel. The year prior we did Italy and I did not have this on hand, and I simply had to close my eyes for most of our scenic drives. I also observed no bitter taste to this medication, and I appreciate that the active ingredient is just ginger.
Recommendation: I have a sensitive stomach, and a couple of times while taking this medication I noticed a bit of an ache. I think it may have been associated with taking the medication on an empty stomach, so I just recommend taking along with a meal if you are a frequent acid sufferer.
I’ll use this for all vacations with car travel in the future. Well worth the cost!

This stuff is GREAT for our kids. We recently went on a cross country road trip and I stocked up. They worked great! A couple times I forgot to give it to them 30 minutes before we left and gave it to them right when we left and it still worked great. Our kids (and myself) get carsick so it was really nice to travel up to 13 hours and no one get sick. Win! Stocking up for all our trips for sure.
