I finally switched to the capsules from Motherlove and they work just as well for me as the tincture without the terrible taste. I would say both are fairly effective but do take a few weeks to see results (at least for me).

Tastes awful, but I don’t care-it works wonders!!! I can handle a quick little shot of bad taste for hours of milk increase! This is my fourth baby-I’ve breastfed them all, always with issues due to low capacity. This stuff makes my breasts actually feel filled with milk, and drip/squirt when baby pops off. He gets more milk, and gets it without having to struggle for it. I still have to do some supplementing with formula, but this fourth journey with breastfeeding is my least stressful!! The Lactation Consultant suggested it, after asking me about my history with breastfeeding and said it sounds like I have a slight hormone balance/blood sugar issue…apparently Goats Rue helps with that! It sure makes a difference for me!! So grateful to have found this little miracle in a bottle! Have never received a damaged product, always arrives on time.

This product has helped me sooo much! I use it with the Motherlove more milk special blend. I’ve had supply issues with my third child, my first two I had an over-supply. I did have complications after birth and had to have two emergency surgeries and my baby was in the NICU for 3 weeks which is what caused my low Supply this time. I’ve tried everything fenugreek, blessed thistle, brewer’s yeast, oatmeal, drinking water, pumpin Pals, Ameda nipple stimulators, laVie massager, every product and supplements imaginable. Motherlove is the supplements that have worked the best for me. I just wish they were more affordable. I’ve tried another brand with almost the same exact ingredients which worked all right& it’s half the price but I still feel like the mother love works better. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. I have to take double the amount for it to be effective for me. I go through about a bottle a week of each ( I have to use the go goat’s Rue and the mother-love Special Blend to get results) and that adds up really quick. I saw an increase of about 1.5oz. To 2oz extra per each pumping session. It adds up to be quite a lot in a day. Its so worth it but being a single mommy of 3 boys its so hard to afford $50-$60 a week ($200 to $240 a month) extra. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It’s definitely worth it when I can afford it but unfortunately when I dont take it I go right back down in production. I have to take it daily to keep up the increase I initially got. I love their products & the process of production. Overall I recommend Motherlove products to all my BF mommies and lactation consultants.

Just got this product and yes as other reviews have stated the taste is absolutely atrocious. It’s my second day and I had to come up with a way to take this supplement.
I wanted to share it since there’s a lot of women who are complaining of the taste.
I got a small medicine cup (the kind you have as a lid on say NyQuil) put the 1 ml of goats rue in there with 4 ml water. Took it like a shot and followed it with some gingerale.
That’s the only way I’m finding I can take this and not have the taste linger in my throat.

I have been using this product for 2 months now and my milk supply has increased noticeably. A few weeks ago I ran out of it and while I was waiting for the delivery of the refill, my milk supply went down making my baby very fussy. As soon as I started taking it again, my supply increased and my baby was much happier. I cannot believe how much effect this product has on my milk supply! It is a must-have for me. Taste is not great, but I take it with a small amount of water and it is enough to make it drinkable.

I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist who gave birth to my 5th child 2 weeks ago. I had a class five postpartum hemorrhage! With my 4 other children I had massive over supply I’m talking 30-40 ounces a day extra. I never had the “omg my milk is in” fullness effect with this child. She’s gaining AMAZING but I wanted to be able to make a staff (I have learned the hard way you never know what could happen and what could separate you when you have multiple children, long story short my 2nd child ended up in ICU when my 3rd was 2 weeks and I was SO happy I had an awesome stash because they wouldn’t let baby even come see us due to Covid) I was only able to get 1.5-2 extra ounces a day started taking this 4 days ago and I am making 8-10 extra! It is well worth the money.

I was told before buying that it didn’t taste good but I thought I could handle it. I figured it’d be like a shot, quick and easy once/twice a day. It tastes so gross I could not take it. I have no clue if it boosts production bc I didn’t take enough to see output. I used the mothers milk tea instead.

I’m on my second breastfeeding journey and this company along with another has helped me so much. I have such a small capacity for my milk and such hungry babies, i didn’t figure this out until my second one. I have used their products since my first, and my favorite is the goats rue. Yes it’s quite expensive but very much worth it and they actually work. The goats rue is my favorite. I have tried the caps and tincture with results from both, even noticeable breast increase. Its a concentrated tincture so I never expected it to taste like candy! Its strong, bitter, and POTENT! I just take it back with no water even though it says you can drink 1oz with it if you have to, no liquid 15 mins before or after. I honestly think this is the best product for women with a smaller capacity. I double dosed for a week so it only lasted me about a week. I would say for a woman under 175lb it might last about 3 weeks. Im 260lb, double dosed and it lasted me a week so. It probably would have lasted me 2. Most reliable company with the most promising results, love you guys!!
