This was my favorite monolaurine and I had respect to a brand, but today I noticed something brown through the capsule and decided to open it and take a look. I have no idea what this particle is, but it is not pleasant to realize that I was going to swallow it. God knows this thing could cause.

I take Pumpkin seed oil to help slow down the urge to urinate. The monolaurin actually strengthens the effect of the pumpkin seed oil. I don’t have to run to the bathroom as much.

These capsules are easy to swallow and haven’t much taste at all, which is good. I like it that they come in 500mg capsules vs 1000mg capsules because then I can take a lesser amount than the two pill serving, which I often do. I use them to regulate my body – to keep the candida at bay – when I eat sugar or something like bread or potatoes that turn to sugar in your body. And the price is decent.

I read that Monolaurin had a higher impact on candida than just eating coconut oil. I already go through 54 oz of coconut oil a month with my cooking but needed something more powerful to heal leaky gut and kill candida. The first bottle I went through candida die off but since then I am on my second bottle and feeling stronger with more energy. My digestion seems to be better with less bloating and pain after eating. All the products for Monolaurin seemed very expensive and as a 71 year old on a fixed income they were way over my budget. Double Wood is reasonably priced, with the same level of milligrams and a larger quantity. It seems to be working! Of course killing candida can take a bit of time but I feel good having monolaurin in my arsenal of supplements to improve my health.

I have struggled for years with UTI issues, and over the past year with 8 infections. In October it showed not as Ecoli as previously but as enterococcus. I have had 3 different types of antibiotics, 2 of which helped whilst on them but severe symptoms returned after finishing the courses. I was desperate…the infections were increasingly bad and even when not full of fevers, aches, confusion etc, i was in intense bladder and urethra pain that no painkillers touched, I searched for what helps with enterococcus, and tried all sorts. Eventually I found studies showing that monolaurin can compromise the biofilm of such bacteria, and that it also is antifungal and antiviral. I began with 3 Double Wood caps a day and built up to 6 a day. After a week I noticed a reduction in pain levels, and gaps in between. The pain continued to reduce, and the gaps increased. After a month there was no more pain, no symptoms at all. I now take 2 a day and remain symptom free. If you’ve never had on going bladder and urethra pain, at a level 10, you won’t necessarily get the blessed and unbelievable relief this product has brought. I honestly thought my life was over as I knew it, as many suffer with effects of these embedded bacteria for years. I am beyond grateful to have found this. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I love that this does not contain magnesium stearate, as so many supplements do these days. If anyone is trying this for Uti, in the early days when I started it, I found potassium citrate took the edge off the pain short term (I used Cystopurin from Amazon) and would you believe watermelon helped too…you can look up how watermelon is good for bladder issues. Not a cure, but it can help. The only thing I found to act as a cure (time will tell) is Monolaurin.

I was told by a friend it can be used for similar purposes to Lysine, I read online it can kill off parasites, if you do your own homework everyone has parasites in their body from our fruit, food, pets, water, etc. I believe this is a good supp. Thank you.
