MIXIK Korean Skin Care hydrating spray serum is a unique way to infuse my dry, sensitive skin with moisture. The cute little bottle needs to be shaken well to mix the oil and water contents, and then sprayed quickly before the contents settle. The fine mist feels great and it doesn’t soak my face, making it useable at any time of day without ruining my makeup. I have not experienced any irritation and my face feels more hydrated. This will be particularly useful in the winter when my skin is at its driest.
Elephas –
While many ingredients in the Mixik Botanical Serum Mist are beneficial for hydration and soothing, several of the oils (like avocado, canola, and sunflower seed oils) are a bit heavy for my oily skin and lead to increased shininess. I noticed magnesium sulfate is included as the 7th ingredient for its oil-controlling properties, but alas, it’s not enough for me. If you have oily skin, you might want to use this product sparingly. Dry skin types would appreciate this oil serum mist for the nice glow it gives though.

At the time of this review, it is priced at $27. I like that the product arrives separated, requiring a shake before use as advertised. However, despite the unique branding, it’s essentially a lightweight spritz bottle with a basic plastic attachment, which was underwhelming for the price. I was expecting a more sophisticated misting mechanism.

This Botanical Serum Mist is perfect for those days I’m at home without make-up and I just want to give my skin some hydration. It’s a little too heavy for my oily skin to use with my make-up. I love that it’s vegan & cruelty free and like the design of the cap. Before using you must give it a good shake a few times. Feels soothing on those hot dry days on my face and neck.

I like the ingredients in this spray. It feels refreshing and soothing to use. I didn’t experience any adverse reactions or breakouts from using it.

At first I was skeptical about this serum spray because it looks like oil. And yes, it contains seed oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, and canola oil. Thats why you need to shake it before using it. But it actually works and is like a gentle mist spray. I like the bottle cap. The oils make your skin glow.
