This body butter has a weird texture. It’s thick and paste-like with a slightly gritty texture. It is unusually dry for a ‘whipped butter’ product. When I scoop out a piece and hold it in my hand, it feels like a small ball of Play-Doh. The room temperature doesn’t seem to make a difference, as it felt this way on both a very warm and very chilly day.
This might make an OK massage lotion because, with a little work, you can rub it into the skin. I found that it left my skin feeling a little sticky, and the next morning I could still feel the butter on the surface of my skin. Maybe this is a good thing and a sign that it didn’t rub off all over my sheets, but I think that maybe my skin just couldn’t absorb this body butter. Since I have very dry skin, this is most unusual.
I’ve been using this as a body cream for about a week, and it’s been fine. I don’t see a radical difference in the texture or softness of my skin, but it hasn’t gotten worse, either. I think I’ll use this as a spot treatment for dry patches since it just sits on the skin. I don’t like to feel sticky all day long.

This body butter smells so good it makes me want to eat it!
It’s described as whipped but the consistency isn’t what I think of as whipped. It’s quite hard and solid. I thought it might be a result of colder temperatures as many oils are solid in cold weather, but it’s been hot here the last few days and it is still just as solid. The consistency reminds me of a sorbet that has just come out of the freezer. You have to dig and scrape it a little to use it. Luckily it comes with a handy little spatula to scoop it out.
It takes a bit of effort to rub it in but once I do my skin feels so soft and moisturized. It’s a large sized tub and the expiration date is 12/2027 so I have plenty of time to use it. I love that it’s a short list of ingredients that I recognize and that it’s cruelty free too. It’s not what I expected but I really like it anyway.

This body butter is not like light whipped body butter, but more like consistency of Shea butter. I don’t need a lot. It doesn’t spread easily, but after applying it, my skin is soft and moisturized. The smell is very pleasant. Overall, it is a very good quality product, but don’t expect spreadability of light lotion.

This mango shea butter has the most delicious scent! I just can’t stop smelling it! It comes with a tiny spatula to get it out of the jar more easily. This is a shea butter, not a lotion. If you are expecting a soft fluffy creamy lotion, this is not that product. If you are familiar with shea butter, you will know it’s of a harder consistency. This product goes on this skin nicely. I don’t feel greasy or sticky after using it and it does an amazing job of softening your skin. It is especially helpful for problem areas like elbows and knees. I like to use it on my hands. I live in a very cold climate and my hands get very dry and cracked. Overall this is a very nice product and that scent just puts it over the top. Highly recommended.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this product is truly awful and the photos say it all. It’s described as a “creamy whipped” body “butter” but the texture is nothing like a nice whipped, creamy body butter. It felt dry, hard and crumbly in the jar. I used the broken spatula that came with it to scrape a bit of it out of the jar and tried to apply some, but it was too crumbly and wouldn’t rub into the skin easily. The scent was also awful and smelled nothing like mango. It had an odd chemical smell that was so bad I had to wash it off, but the odd smell still remained. I would not recommend this product.

I am a huge fan of natural and refined shea butter and this Mango Whipped Body Butter did not disappoint. It smells tropical, has a textured consistency, and an expiration date of Dec. 2027. It comes sealed and it includes an application spatula to prevent cross contamination.
This product smells exactly like mangoes and its a bit dense but that is to be expected from natural unrefined shea butter. As I apply it to my body, it melts into my skin, moisturizes, and leaves it glowing. I have combination skin and my knees, elbows, hands, ankles and feet are especially dry. I am able to use this to moisturize my entire body without feeling overly greasy.
This Mango Shea Butter not only smells amazing and moisturizes, it hydrates and locks in moisture when I use it after I shower. A little bit goes a long way so its likely to last for quite some time. This is a quality product and at its current price of $15, its a great value for the money and its worth every penny! I love this product and I highly recommend it!

When I think of buying “whipped body butter” this is NOT it. What is IS; smells wonderful, super moisturizing and you only need a little. BUT it is gritty without the grit- it is not smooth and whipped creamy. Does not go on like a lotion! But I love the ingredients and it works. And the scent is sooo good.

The smell is truly amazing authentic mango smell and feel of shae butter. I absolutely love the spatula to keep the container clean will be using that for my other lotion containers because it’s so convenient. The container is sturdy and smell proof until you open it obviously. It’s a gorgeous color as well.
