I wanted to try “Electrolyte Drink Mix – Variety Pack, Five Tea Flavors – Hydration Powder Packets with Tea Polyphenols & Ascorbic Acid | Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan Electrolytes Powder Packets | 30 Servings” – here’s what I thought.
I received two packages with 15 stick packs, so they are proportioned for individual servings. And each package, you receive three stick packs with five different flavors, lemon black tea, pomelo green tea, grapefruit Jasmine tea, lemon citrus puerh tea, and green grape oolong tea. Each stick pack contains 9 g of powder.
See photos above for nutrition facts and complete ingredients panel. Be advised this product contains corn syrup solid, sugar, and sucralose. Each stick pack contains 240 mg of sodium and 380 mg of potassium.
Believe it or not, the instructions for this product are placed on the bottom of the bag, and it first I didn’t even see them. The instructions state to mix one packet with 17 oz of water, so that’s what I did. For this review, I decided to try the grapefruit jasmine tea flavor. It was easy to mix and smelled fine. It tasted okay. A friend tasted the lemon citrus tea flavor, and she said it tasted good but it was too sweet for her. It reminded her of lemon sweet tea.
If you decide to try this product, you may want to experiment with the amount of water you add to it, because it appears to be quite concentrated and a little bit goes a long way. You might get several glasses of water out of one packet, for example.
Make sure you read the ingredient panel before ordering if you have any allergies or intolerances. Remember it contains sugar and sucralose. Maybe I wasn’t the best person to test this product because I don’t use flavored drink mixes very often, but if you like that sort of thing, you may want to give it a try. I did not notice any sort of aftertaste which can sometimes happen with products like this.

This is a surprisingly tasty electrolyte drink mix. The packets come in a variety of flavors, each a tea with a different and subtle accompanying fruit flavor. Having tried them all, while I’m partial to the black tea with lemon – they’re all quite pleasant.
The powder is very, very fine. It mixes easily, and dissolves into the solution even if it initially clumps. I filled a quart bottle, not seeing and dilution suggestions, and that seemed to work well for the amount in one packet. At least, it still tasted great.
This is a nice mix that’s different than the typical strong fruit juices typical in an electrolyte drink.

It seems odd that the instructions call for 17 oz of liquid vs. the usual 16 oz. If you’re a more health-conscious person, I would suggest checking the ingredients first as it contains all sorts of sugars, both natural and artificial.
As for the mix itself, the powder didn’t dissolve very well for me as I ended up having a lot of clumps at the bottom of the cup. I’m not really sure how to describe the flavor. It’s very sweet, but not so much a sugary taste, but an artificial sweet taste. It’s not exactly bad, it’s just very different than anything else I’ve tried. On the plus side, so far I haven’t noticed the usual aftertaste that typically comes with hydrating drinks.

I love electrolyte drinks and usually have a couple each day to combat the dryness caused by my allergy pills. My favorite brand only offers a few flavors that I like, and sometimes I can’t find them in stores. So, when I came across the JOISPACE Electrolyte Drink Mix – Variety Pack, which includes five tea flavors, I decided to give it a try. There are several flavors in each pack, and I’ve only tried three of them so far. They are all delicious and so much better than my usual brand! I’m in love with these electrolyte drinks. I tried two of them prepared the regular way and one mixed with a bottle of sparkling water, which turned out really well too!
Captain & Miss America –
I like lots of different powdered drink mixes. My current favorites are 4c Peach tea and Welch’s Strawberry Peach, both of which I mix with twice as much water as directed (32oz instead of 16 per packet) so I typically like my drinks a bit weaker than average. For this drink, the instructions were 500ml (~17oz) per packet, and I followed them exactly for the first try. I usually judge these things on taste, value/strength and how well it dissolves in cold water. The 4c has an issue with not fully dissolving so I like to prepare that well in advance. This one took almost a minute of VIGOROUS shaking to get it to dissolve, and that was long enough that the drink wasn’t as cold as I like. This left a foam on top of the drink, which was interesting but not desirable or tasty. The taste was good and strong, with a nice lemony aftertaste which made me want to drink more. Not sure if that helped the thirst-quenching potential or not though.
My second drink was mixed with 750ml of water, and it was just as difficult to mix in and had the foam, though not as much. This, for me, produced a drink that I would have thought had a nice strong taste if I hadn’t tried it less watered down. The aftertaste wasn’t as strong, and the flavor was good, so I think I prefer it this way. The fact that it tasted a bit weak means I won’t go for the full 2-1 dilution with this drink.
Overall, if the health/hydration benefits make it worthwhile for you, the taste won’t steer you wrong.
