Upon application I felt it was very similar to Smith’s Rosebud salve. Maybe the latter was a bit thicker but it felt like the consistency was similar. It felt nice on the skin, don’t get me wrong, but the price point alone is what deducted 2 stars. The Rosebud salve is maybe $7 per tin while this is $20. You figure out what will best for you and your skin and wallet though.

MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule Balm Stick is a skin repair formula in a solid stick that you can easily rub over wrinkles or spots on skin that you want to repair or improve. The idea is that you would apply this over trouble spots on your skin before sleeping and leave it on over night. It seems to be well-absorbed after a few minutes, and won’t rub off on sheets or pillow cases. It has a long list of chemical and “natural” ingredients on the box.
It is a convenient format to use on the go, for pocket or purse, but I didn’t notice any significant wrinkle removing so far.
Made in Korea.

When I first saw the listing for this Time Revolution, the first thing that struck me was the word balm, then I saw that it was in stick form just like a lip balm. Then I saw one of the product photos with the model applying it just where I needed it, I was in to try it. It literally glides on your skin like the softest high emolient lip balms, and in the morning you can still feel the moisturizing effects. I looked through the long list of ingredients, which seems to consist mostly of various seed oils, which is great with me. Way down at the bottom of the list is the collagen, but lets be honest here, collagen isn’t known to be well absorbed by the skin so probably doesn’t add much to the formula anyway. There is a very faint possibly fruity scent, likely as a result of the various oils and most will probably not be able to detect it. There are no added perfumes listed. The tube is really quite nice and aluminum I think, and purple as shown in the photos. So even though it’s listed as a night balm, if your skin is super dry, you could probably just pop it in your bag and take it to go. It really is a nice little product that is easy and dare I say fun to use. I like it especially for night time because by then, I’m too tired for a big routine. So I like with this stick I can do my usual routing, glide some on, and boom I’m done.

Time Revolution night repair ampoule balm stick comes in a very cute little purple tube that is super easy to apply. I do not care for the scent and the consistency is on the thicker side, which I am not a huge fan of either, but it is ok since it is for overnight use. Although it did not erase any of my wrinkles, it does leave my skin very soft and hydrated.

I’ve become a fan of a few different Korean beauty products, and this one being a facial care balm, it seemed unique so I thought I would try it. The product claims to offer both wrinkle reducing as well as skin tightening effects. Without detailed photos and long-term use, it’s hard to tell if it’s really having any noticeable effect, but I’m not the biggest fan of the way it feels on my skin.
It does feel very much like a lip balm as it goes on. Despite the claims, I do feel it is a bit sticky and leaves the skin feeling slightly greasy and tacky at the same time. While that’s fine for night time use, I would never want to use this under makeup as they suggest. I did do a suggested and instead of just rubbing the balm on problem areas, I took my finger and massaged it in. That did help with a little bit of the stickiness, but it’s definitely still there.
As others have pointed out, the product has an insanely long list of ingredients, some natural, some chemical. It would be helpful if in the description they explained the purpose and benefit of each of these ingredients. Most consumers can’t afford to spend the time doing research on each individual one given how many there are.
I do see a huge benefit though in using this balm for travel. Given the liquid restrictions for airlines, it would be nice to just throw this solid balm in your bag and have it replaced your normal night creams while on the go. Also, I do have to admit that my skin is very hydrated after using this product, but unfortunately, I don’t like the texture and the stickiness. For regular use, I will likely stick to my normal regimen, but potentially keep this product for travel.
