I first found out about these bars from trader joe’s and wanted to know where I could buy a box for cheaper. They’re pretty pricey anywhere but it’s hard finding a vegan bar that doesn’t taste weird or nasty. I’ll order one box every month or so.

Im not being dramatic – trash is where my two boxes of the new version went. In the garbage. I just opened up my Amazon just to see if I was the only one who hates these new bars. Ive eaten one a day since I found them last year. WAS a good way to satisfy a sweet craving and not actually consume too much sugar while getting a whopping dose of protein… They were so good when I realized they were changing the recipe I bought up every box I could find of the old version. It’s just terrible. The caramel gets stuck in your teeth, it’s way too chewy and not at all “softer” as the box tries to claim. I hope my last box holds me over til I find a new protein bar. Someone leave a comment with what they replaced these with in their panty bc I’m gonna be sad when my last box runs out here soon. Sad day for a (used to be happy) customer.

DO NOT BUY. This protien bar used to be 5 stars. It was my favorite protein bar but they just changed the formula and now it’s TERRIBLE.
Originally I found this product because I needed a low carb protein bar that wasn’t made with whey protein (whey makes me sick to my stomach). I found this company and bought all of their flavors. I loved this one the best and set it up on subscription. I’ve had it coming to me for quite a while and usually ate 1 of these bars a day for lunch or a snack. I had Gastric Sleeve surgery a year ago so it was a great way to have a nice small meal for my new stomach that was high protein and low sugar.
THEY JUST SCREWED IT UP. Without any noticed they jacked up the recipe and changed the whole bar. It tastes like sugary crap now and it is no longer low carb. I’ve included pictures of the original nutritional breakdown and the new breakdown.
Needles to say I’m super annoyed. I’m now stuck with 2 unopened boxes of those this terrible stuff Amazon won’t let me return. So be warned, don’t waste your time unless you like highly sugary sweet terrible tasting protein bars.

These are lovely bars. But I think it was a few too many for me as by the end I was sick of them! I would opt for choc caramel as that’s the best flavour imo.

*New Review. I have been very pleased with these MisFits bars, the only ones I found that fit my personally restrictive needs and preferences. I got a new supply today and knew immediately that all is not well. The fiber has been cut from 11 gms to 5 gms, outrageous. Calories up, carbs up, sodium DOUBLED and it does not even taste as good. Was made in UK, now made in Croatia. MISFITS, are you listening??? I will continue buying ONLY as long as I can secure the old recipe, just like with RawRev when they “improved” their bars and I left them all behind..see review below that I wrote previously. Do you guys never learn?
**Original review: Very fussy vegan, I. I confess to that. Also, ingredients matter a lot in anything I eat..fat, sodium, fiber and protein all figure in and preferably no sugar added. I’m a health nut, never eat fast/convenience food and it has paid off for me these decades as I am in the far end of my seventies and very healthy, all systems go in recent medical tests :). My old favorites, Raw Rev, left me by the wayside when their ‘new and improved’ bars hit the stores and were no longer acceptable to me and my requirements. Misfits now fit the bill and are quite delicious so I will be ordering more. Be well, All!!
