   I have had borderline anemia for my entire life. It isn’t severe enough to warrant treatment but just enough to cause me lots of problems, such as shortness of breath, head rushes on standing, pale skin, tiredness, etc. I’ve been taking ferrous gluconate for over two years and my symptoms continued, although my iron level rose to 99 (normally it would be 30-40). My red blood cells, hematocrit and hemoglobin were always just under the normal ranges, and my Ferratin was very low, around 28. Taking the iron supplements didn’t seem to effect those numbers, even after two years.

   I started taking Ancient Earth Minerals about four months ago, after having done some research on treating anemia with cobalt (one of the trace minerals in the product). I figured it was worth a shot, and had a lot of other good minerals that I probably could use. Unlike many people in these reviews, I didn’t notice a difference right away. It took several months for me to start noticing that my shortness of breath was improving, and no more head rushes or extreme tiredness. I was curious about my blood levels so I had them retested. After four months of taking one capsule a day, my red blood cells are still just a tad below normal, but my hematocrit and hemoglobin are now within normal range (still at the low end, but normal). The big surprise was my iron level is now 167, and my Ferratin is now 54, almost double! My doctor is amazed. I haven’t changed anything else. My diet has been the same and I’m still taking the same amount of iron.

   I will continue to take this product and monitor my anemia symptoms and blood levels, but it sure looks like Ancient Earth Minerals is the reason I’m no longer anemic. I’m not a doctor, and it may not work for everyone, but it’s worth a try, maybe it will work for you too.

   Everything that everyone else said is what inspired me to buy this stuff. Now me, my husband and my son all take them every single day. And I have two friends at work who are also using them now, too. They make you feel better, it’s hard to put my finger on it, but there is a distinct feeling of vitality that I didn’t have before. I can tell you this, and this is the main selling point for me–they make all three of us sleep like babies. And my girlfriend at work, who has had chronic sleep problems for years, told me that she slept so well the first night and she only took two capsules. My son (who is 14) takes two, my husband takes two, and I take three. We love them! And here is another thing that happened that is amazing. My husband was having issues with his prostate for a long time; I’ll try not to be too graphic, but if you don’t want to hear it, stop here. If you have issues like him, keep reading. Anyway, he would pee and it would take forever to finish, very slow stream, then dribbling forever, also up two and three times a night, he was exhausted. He’s only 59, and not exactly ready to do this for the rest of his life. Since he started taking the Ancient Earth Minerals, none of this is a problem any more. He might get up once occasionally, but most nights he sleeps straight through. I pointed this out to him, saying it must have been the minerals, and he was doubtful. But then we ran out, and we had to wait almost two weeks to get our next order. And the next thing he knew, all the problems started up again. So that was that. He was convinced. We got our order, he started taking the minerals again, and the prostate problems went bye bye. Any man who deals with this problem should use these. He takes two capsules daily. Maybe others would need the full recommended dose, but I’m just sayin’. It’s a miracle.

   I bought these minerals because I have Donna Gates book. I was thinking to switch entirely to this line of supplements. Though, I did not notice much of a difference and I thought they were just okay. I notice more results from other minerals and supplements I have taken.

   My nails have been weak and would beak for nothing. I thought it was because I am borderline vegan so I increase my vitamin B intake and biotin intake too. However, this did not solve the problem.
   I read about the importance of taking mineral supplements due to the land being so eroded. Thus vegetables do not have the nutrients and minerals they used in the good old days. I read that this brand was good too. However, I didn’t want to spend money in something that may not work and reluctantly I bought them. I am glad I bought it. In 2 weeks I noticed the difference! My nails are much stronger and do not break so easily. This thing is great. Unfortunately this also show that the land being eroded from the good it used to have is a real problem.

   After taking this for approximately two weeks I got severe abdominal pain. Got to the point where I had to go to the emergency room. I was hospitalized for five days they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Then they asked me questions like what have you changed in your diet or vitamins or anything else that would help us determine what is wrong. I then told him about the ancient earth, the two doctors looked at each other and both smiled and looked back at me and said well there’s your problem. They said it’s terrible to take something like this. They treated me with antibiotics and I was released from the hospital. So this is not meant for everyone or this dose was improperly made.
