In order to trust a supplement, it must be made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility and have undergone third-party lab testing. This Natural Foundation Supplements Milk Thistle meets my requirements. The bottle has 240 tablets which is a 120-day supply. This is an incredible bargain for only $6.95 at the time of this review. The only thing that would make it better in my opinion is if they switched to capsules instead of tablets.

This is my first natural foundations supplement milk thistle and I reached out via Amazon message for the certificate of analysis and GMP certification document. I can confirm of the GMP documentation, but the 3rd party testing was incomplete. I saw the heavy metals testing, but they are missing the biological and purity tests. This bottle was double sealed and too filled to know if there’s desiccant inside. The expiration date is 03/2026. The tablets are small and easy to swallow without any side effects.
Per FDA 1994 DSHEA, All supplements has to be 3rd party tested of the final product and made at a GMP certified facility. This was missing two important test that is the purity and biological tests for product safety especially for a liver supplement.

I like the fact that it was third party tested so I can be sure of the quality and ingredients listed on the label. I started using Milk Thistle for liver support when rashes broke out on my shins after I started prescription medicine. Skin rashes appeared when liver couldn’t get rid of all the toxins that we ingested and prescription medication is toxic to our liver. Milk Thistle can help but have to make sure that it’s of good quality and the correct dosage. It kept the rashes away.

The active ingredients in milk thistle are a group of plant compounds collectively known as silymarin.
Milk thistle extract has a high amount of silymarin. Silymarin is known to have antioxidant, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. Milk thistle may be useful in treating liver disease, cancer, and diabetes.
I love these single-ingredient supplements. I wish more supplement makers would put out such products so we consumers can pick from several to put together our own regimen as opposed to taking all-in-one supplements with multiple active ingredients which offer no flexibility in what ingredients you want to take or avoid.
Made in the US, suitable for vegans/vegetarians.

My husband and I both value Milk Thistle as support for our livers. But most supplements have a ton of other ingredients and herbs. My husband taught me to take individual supplements to allow adjustment of the the constituents as need occurs. This 240 tablet Milk Thistle supplement by Natural Foundation (made and tested in USA) consists of 80% Silymarin and works for our preferred method for taking supplements. This supplement works exactly as expected. We both feel this brand of milk thistle extract, representing a whopping 7000mg raw herb per serving, is a great choice.
