I like mushrooms, especially sautéed. I was hopeful I would like this powder amd it turned out to be a major win! The powder mixes very well in hot water. I add a little coconut oil and butter for a great “bulletproof” coffee alternative. It also mixes very well with coffee. I dilute the coffee just a tad to better account for the added mushroom flavor to my taste. I also add a grain of celtic sea salt for a enhanced flavor.

After reading and learning about the benefits of mushrooms and seeing this product recommended by some bloggers I decided to try it.
I added 1scoop to my morning hot coffee with milk and honey. I was more than surprised to find that my coffee tasted not only good but it was delicious! Somehow it made my coffee taste better than without it. It gave my coffee a chocolate mocha flavor, nothing “mushroomy” about it (thank goodness).
I’ve only been using it for a week but I can say with positivity that even on the first day adding it to my coffee, I got through the entire day without feeling like I was fatigued or needed another coffee later on to pick me up. I can’t even remember if that was one of the benefits of the product but it is something I have noticed everyday this past week. I’ve gotten so much more done not being sluggish or needing a nap.
And it’s not like an over caffeinated energy either. I’m not jittery, just more awake and focused.

Used to have this as a staple in my pantry. Was the most accessible and high quality powdered Lionsmane product online aside from the Nootropics Depot equivalent but over the years since using this it feels like they’ve changed the powder somehow and it appears darker and tastes more like dirt somehow. The product still works but it feels less potent. Can’t complain as it still is highly effective and affordable but I just can’t give it the 10/10 that it used to have in my mind.
