Works great for after my surgery to prevent scarring. It is also the same product that the Dr gave me too!

Easy to use. Stay on thru several showers. Just started using a month ago so we will see if they help

I have tried at least 3 different types of scar tape for my tummy tuck scar. This one is the only one that stayed on while I slept without a faja. It didn’t roll up on itself and stayed right on my belly. Even the piece on my belly button stayed. My search is over!

Three weeks ago I was in a serious car accident where someone fell asleep at the wheel and hit me head on. I broke three orbital bones and needed six stitches under my eye. The ER doctor told me since my face was so swollen that it wasn’t going to heal pretty and I would have a scar. As it’s been healing I noticed quite a bit of scar tissue that resulted in what appeared to be a bubble under my eye. Another doctor recommended Mepitac and I was quite skeptical. I’m an extremely logical person and I didn’t understand how scientifically this was going to help. I’m so glad that I did. I’ve only been using the tape while I’m sleeping for the past two days but I can see a significant difference with the scar tissue and that “bubble” is gone. I’m excited to see how this is going to help for the upcoming weeks.

Overall I am very pleased with the way it sticks even through showers BUT no instructions anywhere and that was a problem. I wore it for 5 days as the glue was intact even showering every day, but it did cause a bit of a problem. I started developing a skin rash where one of the sutures was removed due to the fact of it sealing sweat in. So, my doctor suggested to wear for no more than 4 to 6 hours and then go several hours without it. It is possible to take it off and wear it again, just make sure it is not soiled so you don’t cause issues.
I will continue to use it and hope it does help with scars

I had wrist surgery, and my hand therapist had this product at her office that she recommended I use to minimize the appearance of the scar on my inner wrist. She sold me a small strip at her office and then I found it online and bought the box. I can’t say enough good things about this product.
The only thing is, wherever you apply, it has to have minimal movement, it does not work on the inside/outside of your elbow, for example, because it will not stay on.
I wore the stips religiously for three months, and now the scar is hardly noticeable. You do have to constantly clean the area and apply a new strip every couple of days, or you can develop a rash if you have sensative skin, not because of the strip, but because the sweat/bacteria underneath if not properly kept clean (especially in summer months).
I’m so glad this product is now in my medicine cabinet, and I’m always telling people about it who are concerned about the appearance scar.

Has a significant breast reduction and the surgeon recommended this exact tape.
As far as results, I’m still too early to see. But the tape sticks very well, stays on through showers for at least a week.
I recommend so far.

Finally, I asked my doctor after ordering multiple brands that roll off my skin. He recommended this brand, it’s amazing! I’ve had it on my scar for 2 days now, it’s still really stuck on me – love it!
