When I opened the packaging to use this mask following a microneedling session, I found that the mask I received had several rips throughout the top and bottom portion of the mask. I’m talking ripped into complete pieces, all the way through the mask.. basically, instead of a top and bottom mask piece, I had 6 different portions that I guess the manufacturer expected me to piece together.

I really love these masks. I’ve tried so many others…..goodness I don’t know probably 7 different brands and by far these are my favorite. They are a little thicker and don’t seem as fragile while handling them. The eye and mouth holes are big enough and very well shaped and placed for my face. There is no sliding and stays on all night long and in the morning when I take it off I mean my face is GLOWING!!! I also use their pink PDRN serum and wow wow wow using these together is amazing!

I was in the middle of a breakout when I started using these masks and the difference from even the first night was incredible. There pimples didn’t magically entirely disappear, but there was so much less inflammation that they blended in with the rest of my face. These masks also soothed my face after I used a product that massive over dried it. In one night things were nearly back to normal. Yes, like the other reviews said the masks rip fairly easily, but they’re easy enough to work with. The trick is to get everything into position and then not touch it at all until it starts to dry.
It also seems to make my pores less noticeable. Overall I’d say it’s definitely worth giving a shot!

I recently tried the Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask, and it’s quickly become a favorite in my skincare routine. This mask takes about 1.5 hours, which might seem like a long time, but the results make it absolutely worth it.

It’s best to be near a sink or trash can when you take a mask out of the packaging because it has a lot of liquid that can drip everywhere.
The mask comes in two pieces. The top half is slightly short for my face, leaving about two fingers’ width from my hairline. The nose section is cut a bit too large, exposing the skin around my nose. In contrast, the bottom half of the mask fits well.
I have tried gel eye patches before that always slide down my face, but this gel face mask adhered to my skin pretty well. Despite all the liquid in the envelope, the mask itself isn’t overly saturated, which helps it stay in place. Some sections of the mask wouldn’t stick down, like the flapping nose piece and the wrinkling around my lower jaw. However, once I laid down, everything stuck into place really well. So even though you can technically wear this mask and go about your day, it’s probably best for you to nap or sleep while wearing this mask.
I like that they kept the cutouts for the eyes and mouth with the mask. I was going to throw them away but realized I could cut and stick them in areas that aren’t fully covered, like around my nose. There was also enough liquid left in the envelope for 3 or 4 uses as a hydrating face serum. Additionally, the mask feels super cooling, making it great for flushed skin, irritated skin or warm weather.
I wore this mask for about three hours and took a nap during that time. However, I recommend moisturizing really well beforehand if you plan to wear it overnight, as the hydration the mask provides may not be enough for a full night’s rest. There wasn’t much serum left on my skin after 3 or 4 hours, but I pressed what remained into my skin. After doing that, my skin felt tacky to the touch but soft, smooth, and moisturized, although the glow was muted.
Overall, while I’m glad I got to experience one of these overnight face masks, I’m not sure if it was worth the hassle. Wearing a skincare face mask for 3+ hours can limit productivity and sleeping with it can be uncomfortable. Although I do have to mention that after I laid down and the mask really adhered to my face, I was able to move to my side and sleep that way as long as I kept my face slightly propped up.
