This supposedly “dermatologist professional skincare” boasts professional results in 3 months, which is quite a commitment for me to use the same products every day for that long. Truthfully, I probably won’t do that because I have many products that I love and what I use depends on the day and my skin’s needs. Still, at first this seems like a decent set for a face and eye cream duo: Wrinkle & Radiance Remedy for the face at night and Total Eye Treatment. Dr. Brian Zelickson has his name on MD Complete, if this is actually a real individual or just marketing hype.
The ingredient list freaks me out though. The enclosed list inside the package is the longest I’ve ever seen for both products. There are 27 lines of ingredients on the eye cream alone. I’m speechless. Considering inclusion of things like sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, and siloxanes alongside more notable ingredients, I’m on the fence about the overall effectiveness. Chemicals are mixed with natural and worthy ingredients on each product. Some of the ingredients are known issues for me, which are not totally listed on the buy page for some reason — just on the insert that comes with the products. That seems a bit deceptive, given the extraordinary number of ingredients that a consumer would want to know before buying.
Both products feel essentially like waxy siloxanes on the skin, which isn’t the same as real treatments that absorb, moisturize, retexturize or resurface. Some results should be visible within 2-3 weeks but again, the ingredients lists are an odd mix of good and bad. The set isn’t that impressive after closer examination, and the stinky, overpowering scent is a turnoff. Not sure how to describe the scent, but I’ll go with something chemical. I always expect dermatologist hyped products to be better in this area. No fragrance is preferred.
The packaging looks like products found in a dermatologist’s office, but I’m less impressed with the eye treatment. The prime ingredients are water and the waxy cover-up of “siloxane”. No real treatment there despite the laundry list of ingredients, so my overall expectations are tempered. It doesn’t seem the right products for me, but may work for you if you essentially just want smooth-looking skin without any actual transformation.

The current list price for this pair of skin care product is a bit under $68. For that you get an eye cream and a facial moisturizer. It’s not hard to pay that much for one of the products that come in this set. They are both nice products. In the world of skin care, I’d call this a pretty good deal for good products.
The products come well packaged and in great shape when they arrive. The containers are pretty standard and the consistency of the products in the respective packages makes the pump and the tube an excellent packaging choice for dispensing just what you need. Both creams are fairly thick. Unlike some products, you won’t lose half of it running off your fingers when you pump or squeeze it out on your fingers.
Both products have a bit of a brown tint to them. They have a strange and fairly strong scent when on your fingers and rubbed into your skin. It isn’t an offensive odor but I’d call it unnecessary. Unscented would be better. Fortunately the scent fades pretty quickly and isn’t an issue. Sometimes scented products irritate my skin but these did not.
When applied they have a pretty rich creamy type feel. There is zero greasy feeling whatsoever. They sink in fast and leave the skin feeling soft, smooth and supple. Lately I’ve had a bit of dry skin on the sides of my nose and these definitely help to moisturize and soften those areas.
I typically use most creams like this at night. When the temperatures start to heat up or I’m going to be out doing something that works up a sweat, I don’t want skin care products running down my face. When applied at night, these last all night, feel great when applied and leave the skin feeling nice and soft into the next day or whenever you next use a facial cleanser to wash your face.
I’d call these both excellent products at a very reasonable price for a premium skin care set. I’m not terribly fond of the initial scent but it fades quickly, isn’t unpleasant and doesn’t irritate my skin so it’s not much of an issue.
