When it comes to eye patches, I find that most are about the same. All moisturize to some degree, and very few do all they claim. That’s exactly what I think of these. They are moisturizing. In fact, quite good at that, and even better so than some others I’ve tried. As far as settling down puffiness, it doesn’t really do much for that. Same with dealing with discoloration. They did help a little, but not as much as hoped for. I’ve learned to be happy with them moisturizing my eyes and softening fine lines.
As with most eye patches, they will slide down your face during the first 5-10 minutes, so be prepared to keep sliding them back into place. Once they start to dry and set, they will stay in place. They suggest to wear them for 20-30 minutes. I tend to go for 30-45 minutes to achieve the full effect. Even after wearing them for a full hour, I find these are still nice and moist.
The one thing that I personally found to be somewhat problematic for me is that once you apply these patches, they are clear. Now that wouldn’t be any bother whatsoever for me except that I’m having problems with my vision. With them being clear out of the jar, they can be a little difficult to see, both is placing, as well as making sure they are in the proper place while on my face. I found that I had to depend on the light reflection to make sure they were in place. They do shine which is pretty cool looking.

I have extremely large bags under my eyes. Some of which is the byproduct of poor sleep and also getting up there in the years. I’ve tried creams that claim that they will remove bags and none of them work. These work better than creams and I tribute some of that to the fact that I chilled these in the refrigerator before putting them on. I thought about even freezing them but then the liquid would be frozen too. These include a little scooper to grab them out of the package. They’re easy to put on and I just lay down in the bed and leave them on for 20 minutes. Unfortunately I still have my bags although there is a slight reduction.
