Long work hours and sleep deprivation are a part of my life… so I like to take these tablets when I feel a little worn out or a cold coming on. I feel great the next morning, revitalized and with renewed energy. Granted, it’s not like a caffeine boost from a cup of coffee, but I feel a bit lifted. Just a couple things to note though:
FLAVOR
The flavor is listed as Peach Mango. It’s not a bad flavor, but it isn’t what I usually go for. It has a slight floral flavor and the fruit flavor is synthetic tasting, kind of like all these flavored soda waters these day. I didn’t get this for the flavor, so it wasn’t a big deal for me.
DISSOLVE TIME
The tablet took a long time to dissolve about 13 minutes – and I was stirring at the same time. This may be problematic if you are in a hurry for some reason.

This is a nice, low calorie option to add some collagen to your daily routine. I have tried a few collagen powders so I was interested to try these effervescing tablets as well. I liked that there are a lot of good things in these tabs (vitamin C, biotin, collagen) at a lower calorie content than the powders I have tried (only 5 per serving). However, I did not like that this one is higher in sodium than the others (240 mg). Typically I use unflavored powders to mix into my drink, so this flavored tab in my water was kind of like a nice treat. It tastes okay, though I don’t think it is great by any means. It adds a bit of a fruit-like flavor and sweetness, but nothing exceptional. It is a nice change of pace from a normal glass of water though. It does give it that nice fizzy feeling. The tabs are easy to use. You just drop them into your water (it says 8 oz, but I use more) and wait. It does take a little while to fizz all the way out so I just drop it in and walk away to do some other stuff so it will be ready when I come back. It does leave a large amount of foam on the top so I just give it a quick stir and drink it up. It all dissolves very well and doesn’t leave any noticeable lumps or anything like that. At the current price of $10.40 for 10 tablets it isn’t something I would use very often at all, but it is nice for the occasional change of routine. I like the little bottle the tablets come in. It is very easy to take on the go and use anywhere.

The packaging of these are suspiciously like a certain tablet that claimed to stop all colds in their tracks . . . which is no longer available due to not actually being able to do their miraculous claims. I wasn’t able to verify if it is the same company.
These come boxed and in a plastic tube that is sealed until popped open. The lid works easily and should keep it fresh while making it convenient for travel. They have a nice, fresh smell.
It takes a LONG time for these to dissolve. In a glass without any stirring they did dissolve completely but it took a full 15 minutes. There is no grit in the water even when left to sit before finishing it. The water was a light pink and there was a cream foam on top. The flavor is OK, quite sweet. I expected to be able to taste the matcha green tea or turmeric but it was completely undetectable to me.

I like to find many different ways to get vitamins into my body and to hydrate. So this was a win/win situation. I wasn’t particularly enamored of the flavor – it has that fake like sweet bitterness to some fake sugars? I’m unsure how to describe it, but sweet bitterness while not perfect gives an idea. So there is some sweet bitterness to it and it was a bit chalky tasting and took a lot to get it to completely dissolve. But these aren’t reasons to not buy this. Frankly I have yet to find a powdered drink like this that doesn’t have those qualities. I use these because they travel well and have that extra vitamin boost, I sometimes need in my day.

I work with small children, so I am always looking for great ways to stay healthy. That’s why I decided to try Mason Natural’s Marine Collagen.
These effervescent tablets come in a handy plastic tube of ten tablets. All I have to do is drop one in water, and I have a healthy, great tasting drink. These do taste particularly good.
These tablets contain matcha green tea, which we all know is a powerful antioxidant. They also contain turmeric, which is great to regulate inflammation in the body. In addition, they contain biotin which really does help hair and nails to grow and become stronger and more break resistant. It is great for the skin, too. The marine collagen in these tablets is filled with vitamins, nutrients, and minerals. Because they are dissolved in water, they also provide hydration.

This was definitely a frothy drink. So frothy, in fact, that I let it stand for almost half an hour for the froth to go down and even then I needed a spoon to get it to not be so frothy. So that’s one thing I didn’t care for. The other is that it’ just a little too sweet and the taste just lingers in your mouth. I don’t know why that is; the ingredients are good. You get your Vitamin C, Biotin, Zinc, etc. And yet, it tastes artificial and just … not great.
So I guess my bottom line is that I was not terribly impressed with it.

It’s affordable and I like taking collagen supplements when I can, but sometimes I have to break the tablet into my bottled water and put it in the fridge for later.
