I’ve seen these gold eye masks on tv and in movies and always wanted to try them. I tried one other type before this, and felt like it may be more hype than benefit. These are not just hype. They’re a tad thinner than I’d prefer, but they’re comfortable and silky. I keep the container in the fridge to get that cold pop to held sooth puffiness. They’re easy to use, and hard to mess up. And I love that they also included the 5 individually packaged pairs to take with me so I don’t have to figure out how to do so on my own but don’t have to miss days and can look equally refreshed on vacation.

I’ve been really enjoying these eye masks! Not only are they moisturizing and help the skin around my eyes feel tighter and brighter on ‘tired eye days’, the addition of the individually wrapped masks means I can also take them when I travel for work. The pack comes with a cool little applicator and with some practice they are pretty easy to apply. They are pretty slippery though, and since gravity is a real thing, I’d suggest lying down when you let them work their magic. If not, I’ve found you will spend a fair amount of time repositioning them, which is not particularly relaxing! Aside from that, these are perfect for a pick-me-up, and make me feel that I’m giving my eyes a special treat. I would definitely order them again!

This product comes with a jar of 60 masks and 5 sets to travel with. The single-use packaging is a great idea, but sometimes are hard to open (not this set), and causes unnecessary waste. A leak-proof compact with its own tweezer/spoon would be a better idea.
The jar’s package is extremely glossy and hard to read. I agree with others that a pamphlet should be included if the gloss can’t be reduced or contrasted with the text. The ingredients are pretty standard and good for all skin types. According to INCIDecoder, there aren’t any potentially pore-clogging chemicals. I’m going to assume the travel masks contain the same formula, but there’s no indication.
The jar contains 3 sheets I believe are meant to reduce/stop spillage, but they are counterproductive as I ended up spilling formula anyway while trying to get them out. This isn’t a negative per se, just serves as a reminder to open jars like this on a level surface.
The scent is nondescript and minimal in the jar, reminding me of that new makeup smell. The travel masks don’t smell like anything. Despite the excess liquid of the masks in the jar, they stayed in place really well. The travel ones, not so much. The masks in the jar are wider than others I’ve used, and the travel ones seem to be about average in size.
For those unsure of the best length of time to wear these; it really doesn’t matter. A good starting point is 5 minutes. You can wear them until you get sick of having something on your face, until they dry up, or whatever you’re comfortable with. Consistency is really what matters here.

Full disclosure- I’m a sucker for these and I love them. I think they should be in everyone’s skin care routine because
They’re drenched in age fighting, skin soothing ingredients
They are reasonably good at staying in place
They can be used on different body parts
I stick these under my eyes while I’m in the tub and I can definitely tell a difference in the way my skin looks. Fresher, less puffy, more youthful. And guess what! You can use them on other parts of the body. I have an area on my neck that needs an extra boost and these little guys do the trick. I use them on the backs of my hands as well. Definitely a must have for skin care routine. Great for sharing with friends as well. And if you have been known to overindulge while out on the town, these are a LIFESAVER in the morning!
