I love this mascara and have done since the 90s. The color payoff is great except for the deep purple and the green which just look black. After a entire day of wear the bottom lash does flake a bit but it’s not terrible; I’ve considered using a primer for my bottom lashes but the flaking is so minimal I just check the bathroom mirror and go on my way. What I love is that this mascara (basically) stays all day but still comes off easily with washing. The brush is nice and the formula curls my lashes for me and it’s cheap to buy. I’ve purchased every color and, even as I age, it’s nice to wear some fun makeup that’s not blitzed with glitter or neon.

I have been using this product for many years. I have tried many others but no other brand compares to L’Oréal. The round brush prevents clumping. I can wear it with the confidence that it won’t be all smudged by the end of the day. I went to purchase at our local box store only to find it behind a locked glass door! Pushed the “help” button and left after waiting for several minutes. Ordered from my phone in the parking lot…Amazon for the win!

I have been using this mascara for YEARS! I can’t even remember how long…..It is perfect- lengthens and does not ever clump. I also use this brand’s white primer mascara underneath which is also great. And the price is right, especially for mascara which you should be changing out every one or two months.

I wanted to try something different than black and I’m so glad I did! I have green eyes and the Burgundy didn’t look vivid but enhanced my eyelashes as it’s not a tubing mascara from L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara line! This is such a classic mascara that is moisturizing on the lashes, adds volume, adds length, and I can add separation when shimmying the lashes from the bottom slowly in an outward motion! Such a classic formula!
I have tried the black before and now I can say I have tried the Burgundy mascara which looks great with a burgundy, cranberry, maroon, plum eyeliner such as MAC or many others on the market!!
This would look good on Any color of eyes and skin tones! They have green and blue and a violet shade as well as their classic black and brown!
I feel this mascara is less expensive than other L’Oreal mascaras but ALWAYS performs no matter what!

I’m getting married in February. Wanted to try out a mascara that won’t smudge while I cry.
The best way for me to test it out is at work! I blend onions. So my eyes burn terribly. Fully crying, closing my eyes tight because they hurt.
NOTHING budged this This mascara is amazing. It beats onions! Absolutely worth the money!

I use plenty of mascara over my lifetime and we know when a mascara is old. Not only is it dried out but it starts to flake really easily after you put it on. This mascara was drying out before I put it on for the first time. I probably used it for a week before I tossed it. It did have a nice color. I have used the exact same mascara in the past but purchased from a retail store and I’ve never had this problem. Waste of money. I wish I would have just returned it.

I have been using this brand and style of mascara for years. It is my favorite. The carbon black is even darker than your regular black mascara. It gives you great coverage and doesn’t clump or smear. It won’t come off if you are doing water activities or watching a sad movie. Easily removed with an oil based eye makeup remover. One tube lasts about 3 months of regular use. I have never had any problems with it drying out before I used it all.
If you are looking for a great very dark black waterproof mascara, I highly recommend this one.
