These Deep Collagen Anti-Wrinkle Lifting Overnight Masks are nice for giving your skin an extra special treatment. You do want to leave them on for at least three hours, which is a long time. They suggest overnight, but I’m too much of an active sleeper for this to stay on overnight, instead I make it part of a pamper time while watching a a couple movies or longer tv shows. There is a decent amount of serum so if you’re someone who likes to pat on the excess, there is plenty. I enjoy how it makes my skin feel, but I haven’t noticed enough difference to say, “yes! These are amazing!”, but they make my skin feel nice and stay on well.

The second ingredient in this mask after water is galactomyces ferment filtrate, which meant zero to me so I googled it. Apparently this is the latest popular trend; it’s a nutrient-dense yeast by-product from sake fermentation. It’s supposed to brighten skin tone, minimize wrinkles and reduce the appearance of pores. The instructions say to leave the mask on for at least 3-4 hours or it becomes transparent. When it’s transparent, the mask has dried and presumably won’t continue to benefit your skin. It’s dry where I am, so it dried out in about 1.5 hours. When I removed the mask, the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes were less noticeable – the hyaluronic acid did its job. They recommend sleeping with this mask on, but there is no way that would be possible for me as a side sleeper. Overall, this is a good mask for a little treat for your skin as long as you have a few hours to devote to it.

This review is for the Deep Collagen anti-wrinkle lifting overnight sheet masks that come 5 in a box. These are individually wrapped masks, and rather than being the type made of cellulose fibers, these are jelly masks! This style used to be more popular a few years ago but companies seemed to slow down or stop making them—they fit way, way better than the cellulose fiber ones do and I think they tend to moisturize much better. Since jelly masks come in two pieces (one for the top of your face and one for the bottom) they come with more plastic sheet backs to help separate them. These are pretty thin and if you stretch the jelly to move it around slightly, it does tear. They’re white to begin, but if you leave them on overnight they turn clear. Very nice!
