I was excited about this overnight lip mask to help combat my dry lips. While I do think this lip mask is hydrating, I did not find it to be more hydrating than a good lip balm. It doesn’t really take a lot with each use, so even though the jar looks small, it will last a long time. I like that it gives you a little scraper tool to apply the mask with because it is very sticky. I do not like that there is no good place to put this scraper when not in use. It tells you to apply before bed and to wash it off in the morning. By morning I find that there is nothing left to wash off. It does leave your lips with a sticky texture when you apply. I usually end up getting my hair stuck to my lips on my way to bed, but it doesn’t usually bother me for long so I think some of the stickiness goes away as it absorbs a bit. It has a mild berry taste, but nothing overpowering. I can’t smell but have asked others to smell things for me and they said it has a very mild berry smell as well. When I wake in the morning, my lips feel fine, but it is nothing exceptionally noteworthy. They aren’t dry, but they aren’t extra smooth either. It does leave your lips looking very glossy after application, so if you can tolerate the stickiness during the day, you could use it as a hydrating gloss.

I like this product. It does just fine at it’s price point. It did exactly what I needed it to do, which was keep my lips from getting dry overnight. I’d buy it again because of the price point. I think it works better than a regular lip balm and it actually keeps my lips hydrated all night. It is sticky, but it doesn’t bother me.

I like this lip “mask”. The directions say to apply a generous amount at night before bed and then in the morning wipe or wash off. Um – that seems wasteful to me. Instead, I just put a little teeny dab – which REALLY covered my lips well and fully. Made them pretty slick. (Fair warning for those with pets – I did have to pull some cat hair off my lips – must act like a magnet – hah ha.)
Then in the morning – there was still the slightest coating left – where my lips just felt natural but moisturized. Which is GREAT! Nothing to wipe off or wash off. Just went about my morning routine. Really a little goes a loooooong way. This will be especially helpful in the Winter when the inside air is dry and all. But anytime really – it allows me to wake up with moisturized lips that feel great!

This lip sleeping mask is one of the better ones I’ve tried. It has a soft gel texture in the tub. A little goes a long way, although I did apply it liberally. It felt thick and tacky, but in a good way. It stayed on overnight. In the morning, my lips felt soft, smooth, and hydrated. No cracking or chapping, like I usually have!
The mask has a bright pink tint in the tub, but it goes on clear – maybe just a hint of pink. The berry scent is pleasant, and not overwhelming.
This works well and I would definitely get it again.

This is the second product I’ve tried by this brand. It has been quite disappointing as they tend to add synthetic fragrance and flavors to their products rather than natural scents already in ingredients or adding essential oils. This overnight gloss is bright pinkish-red and very sticky to apply. It’s difficult to wash off fingers without lots of soap. I wasn’t able to tolerate the sickeningly sweet artificial candy smell overnight (they call it a “luscious berry scent”), but attempted to try it during the day. It is almost impossible to wipe off lips as they suggest in the morning or remove even with lots of soap and water. Also left lips feeling stripped of moisture and sticky rather than “plumper, softer, and smoother”.
Because “flavor” can be over 100+ different synthetic, petroleum-derived ingredients plus the added artificial color, I believe there are better products out there to combat dry, chapped lips including Argan oil, which is in this product. I hope this brand will change their added fragrance and flavor ingredients to appeal to all buyers. Either way, I don’t believe this to be a quality product.
*Note there is a tiny spatula floating around in the box they didn’t mention anywhere, but still, the product is too sticky for it to make a difference. The spatula would need to be washed and stored elsewhere to not pollute the lip mask.

As an overnight mask, it just attracted my hair, feathers, and cat hair to stick to my lips. Allow me to explain. This lip mask is very sticky. You apply it with a little spatula included. A little goes a long way, but it never seems to absorb in as there is a layer of sticky on your lips for hours upon hours. I wake up with my own hair stuck to my lips. I wake up with cat hair on my lips and have even encountered a few feathers from my pillow stuck to my lips. Every morning is something different.
From a hydration standpoint, it didn’t seem to do much. While it is sulfate free, gluten free, and non-GMO it does contain “Flavor” and Red 6. Not exactly the clean ingredients I was looking for in such a product.
