I found this pack of cold eye masks wholly ineffective. On both style masks, gel beads get decently cold when chilled in the refrigerator (not freezer — per the instructions) but the plush side that is meant to go against your face doesn’t feel cold at all regardless of time chilled. I have put it on backwards, with the gel beads against my skin, but that makes it difficult to secure with the velcro and doesn’t have a great fit, especially for the mask with eye holes. And even that only gives about five minutes of coolness before it’s back to room temperature. Do not recommend.

I get migraines on a regular basis and these have been great. We also use them for ‘spa nights’ and my daughter loves them too. They’re versatile and can be cooled down or heated up. Great price for what you get.

Too cold for my liking when in the freezer they are stiff! But in the fridge they are great! Fit perfectly, and they hold up well!!

I had nasal surgery a few weeks ago and purchased these to use as ice packs to help reduce swelling, as recommend by my surgeon. I like the fact that there are two options, a full eye mask and an eye mask with cut outs for the eyes so you can still watch TV, use the computer, etc. I also like the soft lining to prevent the cold compress from coming in direct contact with your skin. Similar to other reviewers, I keep these in the freezer and not the fridge so they’ll stay colder for longer. I found the elastic a bit big and will sometimes wear a stretchy headband over the elastic to help hold it in place, but that’s my only ‘complaint.’ I highly recommend these for anyone recovering from nasal and/or sinus surgery!
