I’m reviewing Essentially KateS Snail Mucin Facial Mud Mask, 8 Fl Oz, Originates in Champagnolles, France.
This mud mask left my face feeling soft, supple, and moisturized.
The mask is white with a hint of grey, and the mild scent is pleasant. The texture is smooth and creamy with no grit in it. I used a flat makeup brush to apply the mask. A little bit went a long way, and I barely made a dent in this jar, so it should last for quite a few applications.
Other snail mucus products I’ve used are stringy from the mucus during application; however, this mask was not. It did feel kind of slimy when I rinsed it off though, but that’s to be expected based on the nature of snail mucus. I did find that it took a bit more effort to rinse it off than other mud masks I’ve used previously (not snail mucin).
It comes in a generous 8 fl oz black plastic jar.
I find the price of $24.50 to be reasonable for this size jar.

Pros: plumping and moisturizing. My skin was very soft after. I naturally have very dry skin especially when the weather can’t make up its mind. I use it once a week. I will say though that immediately after I apply it there is some burning around my nose and mouth but it goes away after a minute or two, that’s the only con in my opinion.. Easy to apply. There’s not really a smell.

This is made in the USA from product from France. It comes in a plastic jar and has no scent. Instructions are visibly clear. It feels cool when applying it, slimy when rinsing. My skin feels awesomely soft, fresh and hydrated. You don’t need to apply a lot of it and there is a lot in the the container which means it will last me a long time so I’d say for $25 that’s a good deal!

Made my face feel soft and I have a dry face. Easy to use. I put it on while I soaked in the tub for a relaxing night. Easy to take off. I felt refreshed and dehydrated. Love this product. I would recommend.

this mask is a mix of clay, which makes my skin really soft, and snail mucin, which makes my skin hydrated. usually clay masks really dry my skin and maybe it was the snail, but this one not so much. it also didn’t tighten as much as the other clay masks I own did, so I guess it’s good depending on what situation you have with your skin! I applied with my fingers and it was a bit messy but definitely doable!

Did absolutely nothing! Mostly water and like 1-2% mucin. This should not be advertised as what it is because it is not. With masks, even if it does nothing, you feel pampered afterwards…not with this crap.
