I am reviewing: Sheet Mask 5PACK, Heartleaf Houttuynia Cordata Real Ampoule Masks for Dry, Sensitive Skin, Face Moisturizer, Soothing, For All Skin Types Face Masks Korean Skincare
This is the first of its kind that I have tried. The packets are compact and easy to open. There is plenty of the the moisturizing substance in the packet and literally soaking the mask.
It was a little difficult to figure it out, but there is a net mesh fabric with the mask flattened against it, so that the mask doesn’t tear or get damaged. It was a challenge to sort it out the first time, but I’ll be ready next time.
I placed the mask on my face and removed the net mesh, then smoothed the mask into place. It fits my face quite well, with some extra at the edges. Thankfully, I had my just washed hair up in a drying towel. I would advise that getting your hair out of the way be your first step.
The mask feels just wonderful on my face. The liquid is milky with a slightly thick texture. I don’t get a strong scent from it. Didn’t really notice anything when I put it on or while wearing it.
After about 20 minutes, there was still quite a bit of the liquid on the mask. Removing the mask and allowing the remaining serum to soak in, left my skin feeling cool, soothed and very moist.
This is a really nice product and I will enjoy adding this ritual to my face care regime.

I didn’t quite know how to describe it but there’s a lot of serum in it that is quite wet.
As soon as I opened it I had to make sure it is upright so it doesn’t spill. The mask is folded so you have to scoop it out of the serum, unfold it so make sure you do it in front of the sink. The cool thing about this is that there’s a mesh like protector on one side so once you put the mask on you can take off the mesh.
This makes sense because the mask sticks to your face so well and it is pretty transparent
It does feel very nice on your face, it doesn’t drip from the mask or anything too. I left it on for over 20 minutes and I could still feel the serum on my face.
There’s also quite a lot left in the packet too, I usually squeeze that out to use it around my face but this time I was about to not use it… but used it anyway and my face was very soft for a while
Also love that it’s rated 1-2 on EWG, although I wouldn’t count on EWG too much it’s great that it uses sensitive skin ingredients

I have been using Korean Skincare products for many years; well before they were heavily marketed in The United States. The reason is simple. for the most part, they are much more effective than the rest. The most proven skin care stimulants are most always at the top. This, of course, relates to a higher concentration of the really good stuff. I appreciate the addition of arginine as I have learned that this is an excellent ingredient for improving blood flow to the skin.
These sheet masks are fun and they hydrated my parched skin from an accidental sunburn. I followed the lead of another reviewer and put mine in the fridge. I can’t begin to tell you how much relief this gave me. It was so hydrating and refreshing.
I left the sheet mask on for about an hour, due to the burn. Upon removal, I didn’t rinse. I left it as it was and gently rubbed the excess from the mask. There was still product in the envelope, so I kept dabbing it on my face throughout the day as each layer soaked in.
The redness from the burn was lessened as soon as I removed the mask and by the evening, the burn was gone. I had only an incredibly pink, beautiful glass skin effect. The thing that convinced me of the effectiveness is that I didn’t peel after healing.
These now have a permanent home in my refrigerator. I am adding several to my cart. These would be perfect in an At Home Spa gift bag.

I recently had the pleasure of trying some products by Daymellow and liked them a lot, so there was no hesitation in ordering these Houttuynia Cordata, (AKA Heartleaf) Real Ampoule Masks.
The first thing I took note of is the transparency of the brand, literally. The Masks arrived in a plastic see-through box and each mask is in its own transparent envelope. This is brilliant as you can actually see the mask and the amount of essence surrounding it, very nice.
I just tried a mask and they feel simply wonderful. We keep the house cool or I would have refrigerated it first, but the second it went on my skin it felt very refreshing. The essence in the mask is clear and doesn’t have much of a scent. The mask itself is well saturated and adheres to the skin very securely.
After removing the mask I patted in the remaining essence and it absorbed readily. There was no stickiness or tackiness left over, my skin was left feeling soft, looking well hydrated and less pink than it normally appears. For this I have the Heartleaf extract and sodium hyaluronate to thank, along with a couple other ingredients.
Sadly, there is one ingredient in the formulation that I have no use for, and it is going to deter me from further use of these masks. That ingredient is BIS-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimenthyl Silane. PEG stands for polyethylene glycol, which during the manufacturing process can become contaminated with toxic impurities including ethylene oxide (a known carcinogen) and 1,2-Dioxane (a suspected carcinogen). The other part of that compound is silicone, which is bad for the environment and not something I want to apply to my face.
It is a bummer because I love all the other ingredients in these masks and think that they are an incredible value at $15.30 for five of them. One star deducted for containing this ingredient and unfortunately I cannot recommend these.
