This is a nice silk mask. The build quality seems good — the stitching is neat, the elastic strap (which has a scrunchy silk covering) is comfortable during use and the midnight blue is a really nice color. It comes nicely packaged for gift-giving.
At its current price ($26.99 at time of order), I don’t think this sleep mask merits 5 stars because:
(1) It does not block out all light. It does a good job at blocking *most* of the light, but no matter how I positioned it, there were always slivers of light coming through at the bottom (on the sides of my nose); and
(2) The headband is not adjustable; it is one-size-fits-all (or not). It fit my average adult-size head just fine, but if your head is larger or smaller than average, you might not get a comfortable, snug fit.
If you want a silk sleep mask and the lack of size adjustment doesn’t bother you, I would recommend the Bokor sleep mask (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BYJTJMBS); it doesn’t have recessed eye areas like this sleep mask, but it is extremely comfortable, blocks as much light as this product, and is currently on sale at Amazon for $17.99. For only a few dollars more than this Qiyue sleep mask, I would recommend the Miwen silk sleep mask (https://www.amazon.com/MIWEN-Sleeping-Travel-Organic-Adjustable/dp/B0C7C7VBFP; currently $29.99 on Amazon); it does not have recessed eye areas, but the silk is a little more luxurious-feeling, the front of the mask is larger so it blocks 100% of more light, and it has an adjustable strap.
If you are not set on silk as the material, I would highly recommend the Momoris sleep mask (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGFD943K, currently $19.99 on Amazon). The (non-silk) material is very smooth and comfortable, the size of the eye pads is just right, and the addition of a padded piece that conforms to the bridge of your nose is absolutely brilliant — it keeps light from sneaking in at the bottom. It’s as close as I’ve come to experiencing complete sensory deprivation

Mulberry silk eye mask with groves that blocks out all light. Fits comfortably on your face and head and even over a bonnet. Use it at night and on airplanes easily. Very easy to hand wash and dries in no time.

I was super excited to get this sleep mask. I’ve developed an obsession lately with hunting down good masks that will help me get through the night with a 2nd shift boyfriend who gets home at 3am.
The material is gorgeous, good-quality silk. I enjoy the eye cups that help prevent my lashes from getting smooshed.
There are two things that make this less than perfect. It feels slightly stiff, not sure if this is because of the eye cups or something else. And because of that, it doesn’t mold perfectly to my face, which allows light to seep from underneath. In reality my eyes should be closed anyway but knowing that I CAN see light makes me want to open my eyes and search it out. 🤦🏽♀️
The other thing is that this mask is not adjustable. I very much enjoy the comfortable elastic but I have a smaller head than many and the elastic is not tight enough for me. So sometimes during the night I find this mask slipping off.
I had hoped this might be The One as far as sleep masks go but unfortunately the hunt is still on.

This sleeping mask is a 3D contoured shape that relieves any pressure on the eyes which I find is a great feature. I hate the feeling of other masks that either tickle or irritate your eyelids. The mask is so soft and comfortable to wear especially on long overnight airflights. It comes in a beautiful midnight blue color. This definitely is my go to mask when I want to be comfortable.

I am absolutely thrilled with this blackout silk mask. It arrived packaged beautifully and could totally be given as a very nice gift. The silk is thick and soft. The mask is very comfortable and not too tight around my head, yet it still stays on throughout the night. The eye cup comfort is amazing and doesn’t squish any part of my eyes, and the blackout light blocking is so good I was able to sleep way longer than I normally do. My bedroom window gets the full brightness of the morning sun in very early, and typically this wakes me up even if my blinds are down and I’m trying to sleep in. With this mask, all light was completely blocked and I was able to sleep in finally — I am so thrilled. I definitely recommend this beautiful silk mask and it’s an amazing value.
