I absolutely love these eye masks, but I will only order Unscented from now on. I’ve ordered them twice, the first order was a small pack of Unscented masks and I used them up immediately. For my next order, I thought I’d be adventurous and order the Chamomile, thinking it would be a luxurious, spa-like experience. Boy was I wrong. The smell of the Chamomile version is bizarre, but thankfully very faint. It was definitely a let down to open the first packet. It’s a hard to place but very acrid smell. The only description I can think of is if there were a tire fire in the next town over. Faint, but unpleasant… whatever it is it smells chemical, burnt, and absolutely nothing like Chamomile. However, they still work as advertised and I can only smell the odd smell when the mask is directly under my nose, so the warming and relaxing experience of wearing the Chamomile mask is no different than the Unscented. I’m going to order the large pack of Unscented masks but probably will not try the Lavender after my experience with the Chamomile.

These eye masks are a must-have! I don’t know what kind of magic the eye masks contain, but they soothe me right to sleep within minutes of putting them on every night! I also have really bad dry eye, so it is a plus that they help in that area too…I’m not sure how much, but my eyes don’t feel as dry when I wear the mask. I am definitely hooked.

Doesn’t really produce steam just gets a bit warm and I think your better off with a washcloth heated in the microwave…

Sometimes when I’m feeling a little stressed, I take one of these out. I sit over my eyes and lay down and it’s heavenly. Not too hot. Just a nice warm feeling. They are comfortable and lightweight but the lavender ones do not have much of a scent. So if I were you, I would just buy the unscented.
