Overall I think this is a great moisturizing mask! I’ve always loved skinfood masks and decided to give this one a try after using the black sugar scrub masks. Although the scent is not as delicious, I do prefer this mask over the black sugar scrubs since it’s a lot more gentle on the skin. It has a very light, floral scent to it and the rice particles are soft and feels very soothing on the skin. I use this 3 times a week and everytime, I feel like my skin feels so soft and bright after. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a brightening and soothing skin mask!

I am extremely picky with my masks because let’s be real. Most of them do not work, especially sheet masks. Those are always of money. I have dry to normal skin. I use prescription retinol so I get peeling here and there this mask. I am telling you I use it once a week and my skin feels amazing. Looks amazing! It is the best stuff ever made and you cannot beat the price point at all. I can’t even count how many times I have ordered this stuff. It’s the best. Definitely give it a try.

The consistency is somewhat grainy however the rice grains are not hard and don’t feel rough in the face. After I washed it off my face felt very moisturizer. I would recommend for dry and combination skin. I do not have an instant glow to my face but using this I. Combination with my moisturizer cream did leave my face feeling very moisturizer and soft throughout the night until the next morning. The container is a bit small but a little goes a long way.

Where do I begin?! I am so happy I saw this product being recommended on TikTok. I ran to Amazon to get it. Firstly, the price is unbeatable. Secondly, the product itself is wonderful. I used it a few times since it was delivered and I have to say, my skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and glass-like! I will be honest, I don’t love the smell of the product but for the results I have gotten, I can easily look past it.

I like almost everything! The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, the consistency is serviceable, the grains aren’t rough, and my skin seems to enjoy it. It leaves a calm and moisturized sensation upon rinsing.
I only wish it was a little bigger. But that could just be my american ways. You dont need much anyway I guess.
Chemical exfoliants will always be superior to physical ones in my book, but this mask is still a good tool in my skincare. I’m glad I tried it

I really like it! I’m african-American with a lot of acne scars so I was suprise this worked on me and is fading away most of the scars. But it’s doing it at a slower paste. I heard many asians use rice mask treatments for “brightening,” so I thought i’d give it a try but there’s a reason why it’s called Asian skin care secrets and not Black skin care secrets haha I still prefer Skin Food’s lemon mask wash off though only because I like the feeling of exfoliation deep in my pores. Plus, the lemon mask brightens a lot quicker than this. Here a tip to a lot of black woman: lemon works quicker on us. The rice mask is a lot softer and since I don’t have senstive skin, I like a thorough cleanse. So before using this, I use other products to really cleanse my pores of any hidden dirt whereas with the lemon mask, I know even after a light cleanse before hand that the mask will get rid of any hidden dirt. I hope that made sense haha it’s just all about texture. The rice mask is soft right out of the container but the lemon is really harsh and grainy but you can dilute it in water to make it however soft your skin could handle it. The rice mask is still a great product but I recommend it to people with sensitive skin and I think you would see faster results if you’re white or asian because black people have to fight the melanin at a slower paste.
