I don’t regularly use facial masks, opting instead for creams and serums for daily hydration; that being said, I still have tons of damage and drying no matter how much I apply thanks to my job, so seeing a 10 pack of deeper hydrating masks for $20 seemed like a good way to try healing deeper…
The pouches are easy to open, and after washing per the instructions was surprised (like others) to find there was more than just the mask itself inside; I somehow pulled the mesh structural part out alone without realizing this – until the actual mask plopped out in my lap. I figured out before re-reading the listing that this was probably to help the mask keep from folding up, and found nothing in the instructions (again, like others) mentioning this. It wasn’t a big issue of course, and it was easy enough to I fold despite this and apply to my face. I do have a longer face than most using masks like this, so it didn’t quite fit perfectly, but it has enough material to cover most of my face to the middle of my chin, and the nose and eyeholes were easy to maneuver to wear comfortably.
The ingredients are pretty standard for serums, with added propylene glycol and glycerin to prevent it drying out too quickly, and allowing delivery of the active ingredients. One of those ingredients is more of a traditional chinese/Asian treatment than the other, more scientifically proven ones, but the biokeratin and hyaluronic acids are there as promised, and do a good job making you feel refreshed and moisturized.
For $2 a mask, using 2-3 times a week, you have a month or more of repairing masks – which isn’t a bad deal at all… And even if they do the bare minimum, my skin is thankful for any help it can get!
